I had to block the actual email address to stop the emails. This should be illegal and doesn't take away from the fact that he is spamming.

One of the basic rules of safe internet use is: Never click on "unsubscribe" links unless you know exactly whom you're dealing with. When I get spams like this, the sender goes on my spamblocker's blacklist.
Oh yeah, those unsubscribe links in spam emails really work well, not.

The “Russian for Trump” who wrote this piece of silliness must think he’s still in the Soviet Union and you don’t get to exercise your preferences.
I’ve been getting direct texts to my phone. If you want to unsubscribe it will cost you even though you didn’t subscribe in the first place.
Doesn’t do any good to unsubscribe. I have, more than once. there is a network and they’ve sold each other all the lists. so I get multiple emails from various cruz things and I never signed up for him specifically. which tells me the conservative sites and whatnot sell their lists.
