CHARITON, Iowa â Around 10 p.m. Saturday, with locals here stuffing the entryway of a general store known for something called taco pizza, the presidential campaign of Senator Ted Cruz seemed to be winning a bet with itself.
Could the candidate fill the space on a frosty night, in a town of 4,000 or so, more than two months before voting begins, at an hour late enough that taco pizza was no longer being served?
âIâm pretty sure this is breaking a Guinness World Record,â Mr. Cruz said, settling in beside the doughnut display as scores of Iowans surrounded him. A burly man with a thick beard, a shaved head and a large soda offered to be Mr. Cruzâs âpersonal bouncer.â
âItâs a very bad idea in politics,â Mr. Cruz began, diplomatically, âto ask voters to leave.â(continued)

Yes, and that graveyard is all of the also fans. Take a lot at the Rueters poll and remove the filters that distort Cruz pathetic polling. He’s really got nothing.
Nationally he is about 12% as high as 14% in some. He had been averaging 8% for a while.

It seems every news article I’ve read this morning is “Cruz is surging”, “Cruz will win”, “Cruz is the only conservative” or a variation of above.
Doesn’t it strike anyone as suspicious that suddenly Cruz is the fair haired boy? Now picked to take out Trump.
