You know full well that most Trump supporters will also support Cruz - and vice versa. Your attempts to divide the two groups is doomed to failure.I have segregated myself on the side of the
only conservative constitutional originalist running, Senator Ted Cruz. I refuse to buy into reality TV star mania that has afflicted so many on FR. NO. WAY.
I think the only way I vote for that slimeball real estate peddler is if Senator Cruz himself calls me and asked me to support him, and even then I will have to ask Ted if he has taken to drinking.
We saw this populist "Yes we can, Yes we can" crap before... We have seen this "Wealthy, Successful, Outsider Businessman" candidate thing before... and it spells disaster for the Republic.

Poor analogy. Ross Perot got into the race late in the game (deep into 1992) and ran as an Independent from the beginning. His campaign was not very well run either.

“...and heâs down in the 3-7% range.”
There went your credibility in just 6 words.

And in a gesture sure to appeal to Trump fans, Cruz gesticulated in imitation of the individual with cerebral palsy in the front row, and then lied about it and said it never happened.

Hey, Vet, Cruz is on course, just as we knew would happen with his grass roots plans for every county. He will likely win this one, but one cannot be sure until the votes are counted.
Caucus are different that voting at a precinct and leaving. A precinct group of people come together in a room and speeches are made for every candidate if there is someone representing each candidate, then voting starts and if there is no winner with a certain majority, more speeches happen and another vote is taken. I think that is correct, but am not positive. If someone on FR has been in a caucus situation, perhaps he/she could go through that process for us.

I lived in Iowa from 1974 to 2002, except for my time in the service.

Pretty much. It’s not like walking in, voting and going about your business like a primary.

You know full well that most Trump supporters will also support Cruz - and vice versa. Absolutely! I support Trump! I support Cruz!
Give me both on the ticket!
Note to all...I was a conservative before most of you were born. I am not always right, but I am seldom wrong.

Everything is working out as planned, right on que.
Ted Cruz will get to where he needs to be, in the time he needs to be.
Keep the faith.
To: Rodamala
Populism can run its course and go in the other direction.
What was once popular can turn around and be unpopular.
Keep the faith .... Everything is right on time, right on que as expected and planned.
To: Reno89519
Not real. Especially when you look nationally and heâs down in the 3-7% range. Still quoting numbers that are 6-to-8 weeks old, I see.
Call back when you catch up...
