Look at the pre-election polls in Kentucky. Trump can repeat that success nationally. MANY blacks will cross over to vote for him as will legal hispanics.

That means they’re afraid of TRUMP. Last time the Democrats helped the Republicans pick Romney, claiming that was the guy they feared the most. Bre’r Rabbit story comes to mind again: “Whatever you do, don’t throw me into that briar patch...”
You can stand for conservative principles and win elections. GOPe candidates have consistently in just about every era imaginable betrayed us at a critical point. The 2014 elections proved that.
The GOPe perhaps needs to continue to lose elections until they learn or until the real conservatives form their own party. I would rather the GOP be shattered into a thousand pieces, then see it become liberal light.
The worst thing about POSes like Carville is that even he doesn’t believe the things he says. He’s just a paid political prostitute.
