Trump, Carson or Cruz?
The Morning Call ^ | October 30, 2015 | Bill White

I have a weird proposition for you today. Consider this Halloween-related.

If you had to choose between Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz as the next president, which one would you pick and why?

If you're a very conservative Republican, this may not be such a daunting prospect. If you're a moderate of either party or someone on the farther left, you're more likely to be appalled.

But in the wake of a debate in which Cruz emerged as an increasingly popular candidate in the crowded GOP field, and in which Trump and Carson remain the front-runners, I think it's a reasonable question. None of the Above is not an option in this case.....

Trump, but not without regret at having to choose between Trump and Cruz.

I want a non lawyer, not politician, and a clean break from the two colluding crime gangs we call the national GOP and Democrat parties.

Cruz is young. I think he’ll get there yet and with a Trump Presidency he can do it without having to contend with the rigged game that is in place now.

If Cruz looks like he’s going to win it, the power brokers will just have him declared ineligible by pressuring the Supreme Court, like they did on Obamacare and homosexual marriage.

Trump has to break up the crooked game to make President Cruz a reality.

The true heart of some Trump fans, nasty as all hell.

They are not going to run ruffshood over us Ted Cruz supporters with their bar room football testosterone bravado, intimidation, and threats.

It doesn’t matter to me becuase I already got one foot in the grave, what can they do to me ? If God be for me ? Who can be against me ?

It’s Cruz for me all the way. He’s the most qualified, the most conservative, and a solid Constitutional scholar & Christian.

Either Cruz has no understanding of Natural Law, or he chooses to ignore it.

Cruz hasn’t missed too many government paychecks in his life.

GO TRUMP. We need one who will let the others know that things are going to change. The others are too soft spoken and do not seem to have the strong backbone this country needs. Never Carson. He is a pretender.

I like almost everyone on that stage.

None of them are perfect, all of them are head and shoulders above Hillary and any other Democrat.

Most of them would make good members of Cruz’s cabinet.

Exactly. In reality just another professional politician that has not worked in the real world.

He says what conservatives want to hear but has no real idea of what to do.

President Cruz

He recognizes evil and stands up to it
He loves this country
He loves the constitution
He will kick Hilary’s butt in the debates (highly intelligent)
He thinks before he speaks
He’s professional

In a perfect world I prefer Ted Cruz.

In this imperfect world I prefer the one that can win. We must win this one, otherwise we get Obama’s third-term proxy.

Who can win? Over the next few months we will find out.
