Donald Trump will lose his zest for campaigning as it gets harder and drop out before Iowa, and Republicans eventually will nominate a presidential candidate who has previously held elective office, a senior strategist for Mitt Romneys 2012 presidential campaign said Monday.
Speaking at the Clinton School of Public Service, Stuart Stevens said that running for president is the least enjoyable experience that adults voluntarily enter into. In August, he wrote in The Daily Beast that Trump wouldnt even run in order to avoid being tagged a loser, and he still believes that will happen once running for president stops being fun.
The idea that Donald Trump would win, everything we know about politics has to be wrong, and I dont think it is, he said.

Clinton School of Public Service???????????
I never saw the Mafia School of Public Service. I guess public service is as good a front as any.
The only service that the Clinton’s could teach is money laundering or cigar moisturizing.
Too soon!!!! ;)
The GOPe is just mad because they had this election all sewed up with Jeb winning the nomination and Hillary winning the general. Their plans got turned on their head when Trump entered the race. He isn’t 100% conservative on some issues, but neither is Jeb - but, Jeb’s the conservative. Color me confused at these a**holes and their mindset.
Um, Trump is in Sioux Falls, IA for a really this evening. It doesn’t sound like he is giving up.
Romney Strategist = Loser Strategy
Is it any wonder Romney got beat?
The chattering campaign against Big Don continues
heh heh
Jeb, the guy who says he doesn’t want to appeal to conservatives to win, has ads for him that proclaim he’s “the most conservative”!
I agree. Romney and his strategists should be ashamed of losing that gimme election. If either Romney or his paid morons had any sense of dignity, they would just crawl back under their rocks and be quiet.
I detest these GOP Beltway suck-ups so much that I have to stop reading the news. There needs to be HUGE big time payback against these people. At least the Democrats are open about there opposition to the Country.
LOL A Romney strategist..a house cat could have beaten Obama in 2012 and Romney absolutely BLEW IT so SHUT UP ROMNEY TEAM you guys are PATHETIC
The Clinton School of Public Service?
Ill be damned.
So now wwe can see the supposed “drop” of Trump in the polls is really all made up to demoralize Trump and his supporters.

“Does this a$$hole have a regular job?”

Bill Clinton School of getting Serviced Publicly.
Ha!
Yes, neither Jeb nor Trump are particularly conservative ...
I agree that Jeb had/has zero chance of winning EVEN AGAINST HILLARY .. making Jeb almost the only person in America who couldn’t beat the super-crooked Hillary the Liar in the general election.
The whole methodlology of the GOP-e in nominating losers...
this is NOT how a political party is supposed to function, and when we only have two major parties with any serious probability of winning the presidency, ... when one party’s ruling elite decides to turn it into the “LOSER, throw the elections” party.... this leaves us a One-Party-State, at least insofar as we have ONE and only one, apparently- permanent, RULING PARTY.
SO we get dictatorially=minded presidents.. or puppets in the WH that implement dictatorially-minded policies on demand of their puppet=master.
Representative government has been destroyed.
Same in Congress with, most obviously, Pelosi and Reid
(and their enablers like Boner)
a real shame.
the American republic was set up against all odds of history, to allow for representative governance and individual liberty.
We were warned that eternal vigilence was the price of keeping it. We (the American people as a whole, that is) have dropped the vigilence ball.
America. Liberty. Representative Governance. They were a nice trip while they lasted.
