Donald Trump is not going to be the leader of the free world. That was the reality check delivered to the reality TV star when he was subjected to a pounding in last week’s Republican debate at the Ronald Reagan presidential library.
A summer of bombast from the bumptious billionaire had led to his anti-immigration rhetoric and populist demagoguery lifting him to the top of all the Republican party polls. The debate in Simi Valley, however, brought him crashing back to earth.
By the time the dust had settled, Carly Fiorina, the former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard and the widely proclaimed victor of the debate, was in the lead in a Voter Gravity poll in New Hampshire, edging out Trump by four points.
The property magnate, who had looked deflated and remained uncharacteristically silent for almost 40 minutes at one point during the three-hour CNN debate, then stood accused of racism.
Trump was flummoxed when a questioner at a rally in Rochester, New Hampshire, called President Barack Obama a Muslim — and failed to correct or challenge him....

I hate to inform you but Cruz is going to win. I’ve been voting for over 4 decades and just because we are 6 months out from the race, these numbers mean squat. This is a long long race and in the end you’ll be happy when a real Conservative like Ted takes over and tells the Senate F your closure rules I want a bill I can sign.

Same here, the left in this country is pulling out all the Alinsky stops to try to bury Trump, hoping he'll go away. They really fear him and much of it's probably over the illegal immigration issue. The whole left establishment is trying to bring him down but I have a feeling Americans are having a better understanding of the left's tactics anymore, using the media, Alinsky tactics, and other influences to try to stop him but it's not working.
Just look how lowly rated the Emmy's were the other night because that Hollywood crowd is full of libtards and I have a feeling Americans are getting tired of them and their agenda they are trying to shove down our throats.
If Trump, as president, only succeeds on this one issue and enforces deportation, builds a wall and addresses illegal immigration like he said he would do, this would be a huge blow to the liberal/progressive movement in this country and they know it.
The left in this country and in both parties are counting on these illegals to keep them in power, now and in the future. For the future of this Constitutional Republic, what Trump proposes for illegal immigration, needs to happen, thus I could easily support him on this one issue alone.

Fox has been pushing Fiorina non-stop since the debate and pushing the false notion that Trumps numbers have tanked and that Fiorina has swept into the lead. Total and complete fabrication. I am starting to hate Fox.

I agree and sorry I should have clarified my comment a little better. I consider the leadership of the GOP to be part of the left in this country anymore the way they act. I quit watching Fox News after the first debate as they have turned to the left as well.

I agree, everything I’ve read about Cruz, he is solid on doing something about illegal immigration. I would love to see him the Republican nominee.
If you’ve been on message boards and social media, the libtard social media brigade has been out at least the last couple of years with their orders to constantly bash Cruz, trying to get the extremist label going against him. That could be why he is having some trouble getting his brand out there. These libtards are an evil bunch as they have gotten a head start in trying to take down the candidate that would do their movement the most harm.
If Trump does end up being the nominee, the best thing he could do is name Cruz his VP. I could get behind that ticket. I could support Trump for his immigration policy as stated above but Cruz on the ticket would most likely prove he is serious about his intentions.
I know Trump has been a liberal useful idiot in some manners in the past but I go back to what a Russian intelligence officer had to say back in the 80’s about how the leftists are slowly infiltrating everything in order to come to power in America. I have no doubt his warnings have come true and continue to do so as these leftist traitors in both parties have tried to pull this coup on our Constitution, all in the name of furthering their power over us.
That being said, I also remember what the Russian said about when a useful idiot wakes up to the lies and deceptions of those using him to further their power. He said they can be the most ardent enemies of the leftist statist movement after that. That’s why useful idiots have to be exterminated following total control of the masses.
I’m hoping and praying Trump, despite his leftist past, he has finally woken up to leftists and their corrupt agenda for this country. I’m hoping his wakeup call was when he came to find out 0bama and the democrats were lying about 0bama’s 1st birth certificate presented. Trump was making a lot of waves about it, then bam, the Whitehouse issues a copy of the 2nd birth certificate and the whole liberal establishment including the media, and the libtard social media brigade bashed Trump mercilously for even suggesting he wasn’t born here.
Let’s hope and pray that was Trump’s wake up call to these traitors that are running this country and that is his motivation. You know by what the whole left establishment, including the dem party and the republican leaders, the media, etc, fears he has awoken, by their actions to pull out all the stops to try to destroy him.
