Trump also has a history- on youtube, no less, of saying exactly the same things he’s saying now. Interview with Oprah Winfrey. 1988, IIRC.

Trump also has a history of supporting abortion, gun bans, gay rights, government land-grabs and single-payer socialized healthcare.

Show me another "conservative" with a similar history.

Regardless of what grade of conservatism Trump is, matters little since he is leading the nearest rival 2:1 in the latest major poll which came out today.

Which means Trump is resonating with republicans much more than other more conservative candidate. Trump can actually defeat Bush. Trump leads Bush in every poll going on for over a month now. Which other conservative is ahead of Bush in any poll?

If Trump drops out, Jeb Bush will be the nominee. I am willing to bet money on it.

How long ago? Links? I know about the Kelo thing. Trump did not pioneer eminent domain.

He has addressed abortion & guns. I think it is a reach to say that he’s talking about single payer. He said “private” & “across state lines”. That doesn’t sound like government healthcare or sociaiized medicine to me.
He may be agnostic on gays. I don’t think he’s addressed it. It is not a deal breaker for me or for many other people.

America will not be a “moral utopia” if our country is destroyed economically; with mass unemployment & impoverished. That hurts society. It hurts families. And it hurts children.

Trump isn’t billing himself as a “conservative”. He is running as a republican.
