Because leftist pundits (85%-90% of all pundits) ASSUME all republicans are extreme right wing, homophobes, selfish, and not inclusive of people.

As much as I hate the Democrats, I really hate the Republican party more.
The Democrats tell you what they're going to do, and then they do it. No surprise there!
The Republican's tell you that they're going to do the opposite of the Democrats, only to end up doing the exact same thing they are!
