Ann Coulter believes that Donald Trump can win the White House by continuing to tap into the electorates anger over the nations broken immigration system.
Speaking at a collegiate forum hosted by the Eagle Forum, Ms. Counter said Friday that Mr. Trump should not be underestimated.
I love Trump. I love him, and I think he can win, Ms. Coulter said. I think he can win the nomination and I think he can win as a third party.
The conservative commentator is one of the most vocal critics of the immigration system. She recently released a book, called Adios America: The Lefts Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole, in which she attacks both parties for not strengthening border security and not reducing the flow of people coming into the country both legally and illegally.
On Friday, Ms. Coulter told the college students gathered at the Heritage Foundation that her first thought when Mr. Trump entered the GOP race was that she was glad that he would ensure immigration would get some attention.
Since then, she has come to believe that Mr. Trump, who has surged to the top of the GOP polls, has a real shot at winning the primary race, as well as the general election....

“Oh what I would give to go one on one with her in a debate.”
Oh what I would give to go one on one with her...
To each their own. Ugly women need love too.
A third party guarantees a Hillary or Bernie win. Just saying. We either fight for our liberty, of we don’t.
“There is no way he wins in a 3-way race.”
I think he would...
Another GOP drone heard from.
But this is a primary Bob. Why would she (or anyone) calling him or herself "conservative" not support the most conservative candidate in the race? The general election is a different matter. But to throw one's support behind a lifelong liberal like Trump when there is a solid conservative alternative in Cruz shows how she has not changed one bit from the past wherein she supported Mitt and Christie. And that, I believe, makes her no better than Rove.
She has about as much credibility with me as does Rove at this point.
I don’t know what happened to her. When she fawned all over Romney and Christie, I was done.
Good question. The enigmatic anomaly. I like her wit.
Trump would have to split both the independent vote and the conservative/Republican vote, in which case, Hillary wins.
She just let the mask slip and revealed who she really is. Her fans don’t want to accept that. But she is still who she is. A RINO at best. A liberal running a con on conservatives for cash at worst.
“Trump may win as the GOP nominee, but third party, I dont think so. jmo”
I think Trump would draw more “dem” votes than any other candidate. The dem’s don’t like the BS that has been going on either...
I don’t see anything enegmatic. There are reasons people back liberals and they are pretty self evident.
I just hope Jeb B. won’t get the nomination. Stupid to push the Bush dynasty. Also, there disinformation and nonsense is being pushed. On Fox, somebody on Brett Baire’s show, when asked who are the losers and winners of the week, picked D. Trump as the loser! Trump might eventually lose, but he sure did not lose this past week.
“To each their own. Ugly women need love too.”
I guess, but who said anything about love?
“But this is a primary Bob.”
ALINSKY #13. Why use my name?
Now that I got my Alinsky response out of the way (you can look it up, there’s another clown trying to use it against me also), my point is that, LIKE IT OR NOT, Trump is doing MUCH MORE for conservative causes than Cruz or anyone else.
I know they are in synch regarding border security, but Cruz simply hadn’t made any progress. I’ll deal with Trump possible moderate views when he actually states them.
I don't know, because I like seeing people who defend liberals show their paranoia? Or could it be because I was being friendly?
We were talking about Ann Coulter and Karl Rove. Why the apparent need to make it about me? I asked how Coulter (or anyone) calling him or herself "conservative" could not support the most conservative candidate in the race.
You ignored that. Noted.
I also said the general election is a different matter. But to throw one's support behind a lifelong liberal like Trump when there is a solid conservative alternative in Cruz shows how she has not changed one bit from the past wherein she supported Mitt and Christie. And that, I believe, makes her no better than Rove.

Have a nice evening, Bob.
Okay. Though, at times I’ve been surprised, by unread human motives.
Ann is incredibly bright, witty and fun.
