IIRC, Ted Cruz has quite a few country stars backing him, but I haven’t made a list as that’s not my favorite genre anymore.

I follow Charlie Daniels and I’ve seen him respond to liberals criticizing some of his songs for being representing of Southern pride (ie Racist.) he calmly and patiently explained the obvious significance of the music and destroyed the liberals comments with courtesy. I got the distinct impression that the man possesses a very high IQ and is simply humble about it, but it shines bright whenever he voices his opinion.
