With the possible exception of Steve Schmidt, no Republican advisor is better known to the right for sneering at the right than John Weaver.

And I've never heard of either one of them.

“for some reason”

I think we all know the reason... we are getting adept at reading GOPEsigns here

So, maybe he plans to run as Jeb Bush in a dress.

He says the party may need a George McGovern-sized defeat with a candidate like Ted Cruz before it chooses another path.

Yeah, just keep pushing the squishy, TEA Party-hating, RINO losers.

John Kasich taps noted conservative-basher as senior campaign strategist for some reason

We do not care what John Kasich does. He is going to have as much impact on the next election as the Easter Bunny.

All the little candidates I’ve seen so far have an impact of cutting into Cruz support like Perry in TX, Jindal in LA, Graham in SC, Huckabee in AR. Those guys could win outright in those states or deny Cruz delegates and or victory there.

Kasich, being the OH governor, could deny a Midwestern not Bush candidate a victory in OH and lock up a large chunk of its delegates for the GOPe-Jeb Bush. Is Kasich aimed at Walker?

Kasich is just an idiot. God told him to implement Obamacare.

Huckabee is a more serious mainstream candidate.

Mmmm, maybe because he’s an RNC blocker running to keep a conservative from being nominated.

Kasich has lost his conservatism and is going for “opportunism”.

I liked him when he was in Congress and then when he ran for governor, but he has been betraying his old fighting conservative principles for political power.

Coopted like so many others. No principles, no honor.
