If the TEA Party was truly "ruining" the Republican Party, do you really think David would be concerned?
well...I smell FEAR!
these dopes FEAR the Tea Party.
they have nothing else to offer but their REACTIONS
the Tea Party is the New VRWC!!
He attacks those who are being attacked. Quisling.
Another left wing moron who missed the 2014 election.
2010, 2014 elections sink the narative.
So many words to say nothing of worth.

The trash I threw out yesterday stinks worse than this pathetically stupid, fact-free tripe. “Anti-intellectual”? Projection at its finest.
>>Party of white people: How Tea Party took over the GOP, armed w/all the wrong lessons from history
Funny how the opposite is even more true.
Party of rich white people: How Progressive movement took over the Democrat party, armed w/all the wrong lessons from history
So, to qualify his article he posits, out of context:
As early as August 2009, David Frum, a speechwriter for George W. Bush, warned that conservatives were playing with fire. All this hysterical and provocative talk invites, incites, and prepares a prefabricated justification for violence, he wrote during the angry summer recess. Its not enough for conservatives to repudiate violence, as some are belatedly beginning to do. We have to tone down the militant and accusatory rhetoric.
Then goes straight for the jugular and citing Gabby Giffords being shot as some tangential tie, which it isn’t.
That lunatic, who shot Gabby and the many other acts of violence subsequently committed were done by craven lunatics, who were either politically agnostic or very much Democrat voting, as well pretty much in line with the left ideology.
The author fails to note one instance, because there aren’t any, of a so called right winger committing any heinous acts.
This article is pure Barbara Streisand....
It’s amazing that someone can talk so much....and say so little.
“It was, in some sense, built into the movement. The logic of their argumentthat conservatives were losing the country, that it had fatally departed from the Founders intentions, that the republican experiment required periodic revolutions to renew old valuessuggested that extreme and uncompromising measures were necessary to restore the nation to the old ways”.
This is perhaps the only sane narrative in the entire article.
what does this make, the 8th million article saying the Tea Party is dead? And that the Tea Party must become socialist to survive?
Just how was it that Palin had any responsibility?
Talk about readily dismissable premises...
When you start off with a honking big lie as your premise, everything that follows is crap.
If the “Tea Party” ran the GOP, then why is Boehner and McConnell in charge??
bump
Professor David Asshat, surely, fearful protector of all acadumbia.
From article,
“...the Tea Party combined legitimate outrage over Democratic policies with more disreputable elements that tended toward extreme directions...”
Leftists (lunatics) always think “extreme” means
adherence to the law, e.i., the Constitution.
