>From the article: On the other side, Sens.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
are in favor of the dealeven though its unclear if either has, like Paul now has, visited the secret room to read the text. Both could. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry are also in favor of the deal, but wouldnt be allowed through the doors to read it.<
As much as I like Cruz, (I’ve donated to his campaign)...if he votes for this, I done with him.
Looks like the Chamber of Commerce politicians are for it.
I am sure you are aware that senator Cruz is for expanding H-1B visa’s fivefold. And Senator Rubio is for making it easier for immigrants to flood in. With the way economy and middle class wages are, we definitely do not need a million new unskilled immigrants each and every year.
They voted for cloture which is the key vote .
The vote was to kill the Constitutional Law requiring 66 votes to pass a treaty !
Yes Cruz voted to make this Obama treaty easy to pass the senate and basically kill the constitution law for treaties!
they voted to give Barry and Soros the power to have an Open Ended treaty that Obama can add Gun Control or Amnesty or a massive tax on services
for all of us to pay and nothing can syop them once the treaty is passed !
This open ended treaty is a nightmare and Cruz and so called conservatives all voted for it.
The Dem filibustered it to for a PR move. The entire Gop ignores us and lies to our faces like Cruz saying he will add an amendment which is prohibited under Fast Track is okayed so it was bold faced lie.
Dear Sen. Cruz, I find it astonishing that any member of Congress could support legislation that is under lock and key hidden from the public! I appreciate you filing an amendment to the TPP and I read it. That is NOT what we need.
What we need is the entire texts of the TPA/TPP.
I am currently a "Cruz or Lose" supporter. I signed up and have sent money but if you continue to support this ridiculous ploy of hiding agreements that affect all of us, I will be finished with my support. I am a long time member of FreeRepublic.com. We boast 300,000 members of conservative activists and are independent and beholden to no one. I see my thoughts repeated daily there.
You sir, are about to lose significant base support if this continues.
Sincerely, T.O. Elliott
