One stands alone.
Ethanol bad - Butanol good
Wow. No kidding.
Yea, but he’s articulate, and brilliant, and BLACK!
Therefore, I would probably be in favor of taking that $4 billion a year we spend on oil subsidies and using that in new fueling stations for 30 percent ethanol blends, he added. “
This is someone who doesn’t even know what the hell he is talking about.
Typical minority liberal.
Ben will make a great Surgeon General in the Cruz Administration.
Then again, he may just end up being the Republican version of Jocelyn Elders.
Ben Carson for Ted Cruz’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Peace out, Doc.
So, not only does he not understand that our rights come from God (See his position on the 2nd Amendment), he also thinks it is OK to pander to a constituency by taking a non-conservative position to win Iowa and he is in favor of raising the Minimum wage.
He’s done!
Ben, keep your damn moonshine out of my engines, you idiot.
electric car is a better idea than ethanol car. Ethanol car is bad for the environment
Very not good. He knows what he knows, medicine, surgery, and possibly a good deal about organizations. And little else. He is apparently unwilling to learn about those “other things” from the people he proposes to lead, because he has now stuck his foot in his mouth over gun control and now this ethanol thing. The ethanol deal fails 6th grade math. More importantly, the “big oil” meme. It shows he can be swung by lib talking points and has not done his homework.
Done.
Why are so many supposed ‘conservatives’ all gaga over this guy?
Nearly every time he opens his mouth, he shows how much of a non-conservative he really is.
I still like and respect him, but ‘twould appear that his physics and chemistry pre med education was a bit lacking.
Hey, I got an idea. Why don’t we slash subsidies for oil and ethanol and give the money to illegals?
30% Ben? Push the plunger!!! ... 30% and we’re done ... What a waste of time ... Ben has no idea what he is proposing ... 10% ethanol and look at the price of meat ... 30% ethanol and only a doctor will be able to afford the price of a piece of meat.
Let’s not. It isn’t good for your car
Writer Jazz Shaw about as knowledgeable as Carson. ‘Cornhuskers’ are Nebraskans, Iowans are ‘Hawkeyes’.
Walker has long been maligned about flipping on ethanol by a lot of people, including some Cruzers here on FR.
Readers have a right to know the truth on Walkers longstanding ethanol position, one he articulated again in his Iowa speech.

Walker on ethanol, March 7, 2015
“While I do not support the mandate, I do not have a problem with ethanol...
However, it is clear to me that a big government mandate is not the way to support the farmers of this state...
Central planning will not help our family farmers, protect our environment, or provide jobs.
The free enterprise system must drive innovation to relieve our dependence on foreign oil, not mandates from the state or federal government.”
Ben Carson needs to stick with surgery.
