Right, jimmy Carter and Mitt Romney and Bill Clinton, and Michael Dukakis, and William Weld, and Huckabee.
I support the best candidate and best person, for instance in no primary was Governor Romney the best choice.
I assume that you supported him though.
I agree. That combination would be good.
Heck - what if folks stop doing the inane “what if” scenarios that don’t do a bit of good but do provide some phantom meat for others to chew on while looking for faults with Cruz?
The plus side to this would be, Rubio would be out of congress and stashed in the VPcy, where he can do little harm.
There was a article about Marco Rubio today in Yahoo News in a interview he said that government can help people, he was talking among things like Pell Grants for students, regulate the airlines.
Marco Rubio is another Washington insider GOP establishment cronnie.
In the interview it sounded like he had a little distain for those new comers to Congress who were elected in the last election of those who are anti-govermemt intervention.
Marco Rubio is another RINO pretending to be a tea party conservative.
Did you read the interview of him by Yahoo News?
He said, Marco Rubio, said that government can help people, after he mentioned Pell Grants to students, regulation of the airlines.
The person interviewing him made a comment that Rubio has a little distian for the anti-government intervention types who were recently voted in.

bump
Rubio wanted amnesty, and his plan would have cost billions and give millions of taxpayer dollars to leftwing advocacy groups like LULAC and LA RAZA
That is not going to work this time.
Besides, do Ted and Marco even get along?
May not but the winner better try and pick someone that can help in the potential
to gain states. It takes many groups to bring a national win together. We’ll
know by July 21, 2016 whom the VP nominee will be.
If Cruz wins the nomination, he needs a governor as his running mate, not another Senator. I think Bobby Jindal would be a good choice.
Walker screwed the pooch with his Liz Mair fiasco. Martinez is Nikki Haley would be an interesting choice.
She’s not going to run for public office this election cycle. She won’t put her family through that again, and I don’t blame her one bit.
Scratch the “Martinez is” typo — Was thinking Haley
Haley may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but she’s don’t an outstanding job in state that had serious economic issues.
The states unemployment rate has plummeted on her watch, and major companies such as Boeing and Amazon have relocated operations there.
Haley has been vocal about her position that immigrants need to follow the law the way her own parents did in coming to the United States from India. In 2011, she signed into law a bill that gives police more power to stop and detain anyone suspected of being in the country illegally while stepping up enforcement against anyone caught making fake IDs.
Despite attacks on her character, she won reelection in a landslide. All of the attacks were lies told by people seeking to profit either poitically, financially or both. They all failed.

I can vote for Cruz/Rubio ticket.
Cruz/Walker or Walker/Cruz would very strong.
Good ideologically, geographically and politically.
And there is no reason for it not to be, the lamestream liberal media being told to STFU already.

I will accept any combination which has the best chance of sinning in general. That means polling well among independents.
The scariest scenario for me is Hillary winning in 2016. I am sure the country will be unlivable for conservatives after 8 years of Hillary. The Hillary appointed SCOTUS will rule for 30 years more.
replace “sinning” by “winning”. Sorry for my fat fingers.
