Warlords dont have use for peace because peace doesnt have use for warlords.
Only hours after the results revealing the Likud Partys lead in obtaining the most seats 30 to its closest competitors 24 of the Zionist Union (formerly the Labor Party) in the next Israeli Knesset (Parliament), the National Republican Senatorial Committee in the U.S. sent an email message to millions of U.S. residents congratulating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for what most likely will result in his re-election for a fourth term. The announcement includes a congratulatory petition for people to sign, and states in part:
The people of Israel have spoken: Prime Minister Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu was just reelected to office, in a sweeping victory for those who value freedom and democracy around the world.
Yes, this election is a sweeping victory, but not for those of us who value freedom and democracy around the world. Right-wing politicians who run and rule by fear and division stand as the only winners in this travesty: those hardliners who promote intolerance, hatred, xenophobia, and racism.
Only four days prior to the election, Netanyahu and his Likud Party were trailing in the polls. Just 48 hours before the election, Netanyahu, as a last-ditch desperation effort, finally told his truth: that he would never support the establishment of a Palestinian state on his watch, while increasing Israeli so-called settlements on the West Bank. Netanyahu-watchers had long suspected what turned out to be his previously voiced disingenuous interest in a two-state solution. Netanyahu turned Israeli democracy into a platform of hate and suspicion by warning his right-wing supporters that the opposition parties had been bussing legally registered and politically left-leaning Israeli Arabs to the polls in droves. Netanyahus brand of extremism is a terrible thing for Israel, for the Middle East, and for the world, but not much different from the GOP in the U.S., which also campaigns and rules (not governs) on a platform of hate, fear, and division. The Obama economy is a disaster. Obamacare is a train wreck, and the Obama Clinton foreign policy of leading from behind.
The whole worlds on fire, said potential Presidential hopeful Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) at a speaking engagement in Barrington, New Hampshire on March 16, 2015.
The whole worlds on fire is simply hyperbole concocted to insight and instill horror and trepidation. Though Netanyahu spoke directly in racist terms about Israeli Arabs, a number of GOP leaders currently employ the coded (dog-whistle) language of race and racism.
I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesnt love you. And he doesnt love me. He wasnt brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country, said former New York City mayor, Rudy Giuliani, of President Obama, February 18, 2015, and the dogs came running home.
In addition, the massive calls from members of the Tea Party for Mr. Obama to present his birth certificate before his election continuing long into his first term, the investigations into his time spent in Indonesia as a child, and inquiries into his African roots on his fathers side coexist as veiled racialized and racist messages.
Former Presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich, at a town hall meeting in Meredith New Hampshire January 6, 2012 branded Barack Obama as the most effective food stamp President in American History.
We must cut through the coded xenophobic, racialized, and classist language, for often when politicians use the words poor, welfare, inner city, food stamps, entitlements, bad neighborhoods, foreign, not like us, they tap into many white peoples anxieties and past racist teachings of people of color.
Though white people comprise the largest percentage of current food stamp recipients, 34 percent, the common perception and societal stereotype depicts black people as abusing the system. In addition, the buzz phrase, personal responsibility now has become a catch phrase to justify cutting benefits to people with disabilities, older people, and those who have fallen on hard times and need assistance. In addition, current calls by GOP leaders for laws guarding against so-called voting fraud are nothing less than attempts to limit voting by members of racialized communities, elders, poor, and working class people. -
The Tea Partyers and members of Likud, including Benjamin Netanyahu, give no real alternatives to negotiated settlements other than war. To remain in power, Netanyahu, Boehner, and McConnell have to talk tough, to exert their brand of hypermasculine bravado like every other warlord going back through time. One does not have to ride a horse shirtless and order the invasion of Ukraine to fall into this category.
Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party are in cahoots with John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, and their right-wing Republican cronies who do not seek peaceful means to resolve conflict. What was true from ancient times remains true today, from the ancient Persians, Assyrians, Canaanites, Greeks, Romans, Babylonians, Celts, Scandinavians, Christian Crusaders, Ottomans, Islamic Jihadists, Fascists, Nazis, nationalists and neo-nationalists of every stripe:
Warlords dont have use for peace because peace doesnt have use for warlords. -
Being raised on the knee of a Marxist and then seeking out Marxist professors in college and then twenty years in Jeremiah Wright's weekly hate rallies will do that to a person.
Netanyahu turned Israeli democracy into a platform of hate and suspicion by warning his right-wing supporters that the opposition parties had been bussing legally registered and politically left-leaning Israeli Arabs to the polls in droves.<<
Forgot that the bussing was similar to paid DEMOCRATIC strategies and possibly paid for by the current White House through an intermediary.

Oh please.
The only thing that Warren Blumenfeld actually values is a "final solution" to the "Jewish problem".
Wait, isn't that statement simply overwrought hyperbole?
Not at all. Compared with the garbage and demagoguery that Blumenfeld is spewing in this article, my statement about Blumenfeld seeking a "final solution" is a model of truthfulness.
Ask a liberal that question sometime.
Post back to me if you get a straight answer.
My sis, the social worker, is actually smarter than this buffoon. She knows better than to make an argument this stupid. When confronted, she just changes the subject...
Another Hussein election victory party ruined.
The article says ... “... members of Likud, including Benjamin Netanyahu, give no real alternatives to negotiated settlements other than war.”
— — —
That’s TOTALLY FALSE. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said many times before that he would go anywhere, at any time and talk to anyone in order to have the final status talks and form the Palestinian State. Netanyahu has outlined a CLEAR PATHWAY to the formation of a Palestinian State, which takes into consideration the security needs of Israel to insure the safety and continuation of Israel, in spite of all the external threats to exterminate Israel. These are very reasonable and any state would defend themselves in such a rational way. Netanyahu has NO PROBLEM granting the Palestinians a SOVEREIGN STATE that they can have all on their own! All they have to do is hammer out the final status agreement with Israel and Netanyahu!
AND ... just to show you ... Netanyahu gets HAMMERED from both sides ... the “other side” and “his own side” for his long-standing stance on forming the Palestinian State.

Prime Minister Netanayahu gets SLAMMED by the Left and the New York Times ... AND ... and he gets SLAMMED by the Right and the Israeli papers ... LOL ...
Netanyahus position on being very willing to negotiate with the PA and very willing in forming a Palestinian State has remained the SAME for years ... as he pointed out from his Bar-Ilan speech.
Netanyahu has never been the holdup on forming the Palestinian State, it has been the Palestinian Authority who has been the holdup. They dont want to get the Palestinian State through negotiations with Israel, but they want to get it from it being imposed from the outside without any conditions attached,
Netanyahu Flip Flop: I Want a Two-State Solution [Israel]

Days after vowing not to establish a Palestinian state, Netanyahu says something else in his first post-election interview.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has retracted his pre-election statements, according to which he would not allow a Palestinian state to be established.
I dont want a one-state solution. I want a sustainable, peaceful two-state solution, Netanyahu said Thursday in an interview with MSNBCs Andrea Mitchell. I havent changed my policy.
Netanyahu said his earlier comments were a reflection of changing conditions on the Palestinian side, pointing to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbass pact to form a unity government with Hamas, which Israel, the U.S. and most European countries consider a terrorist organization.
Im talking about what is achievable and what is not achievable, Netanyahu said Thursday, insisting that he would support a demilitarized Palestinian state under a plan that would ensure Israels security.
Another sick self-hating Jew who seems to be trolling for dates.
Why are we cursed with so many weirdos in our religion? We’re tasked with honoring and protecting God’s ideas and land, not attacking and destroying them.
Well, we can lump him in with the Blumenthal KAPOS, Sidney and Max, David the Red Axelrod, Naomi Klein (one really sick broad, along with Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein, and of course, that hair stylist Little Debbie Wasserman Test Schulz) and Ezra Klein, the former leader of Journos and ego-king of the internet.
Why, us, God? Why us?
What do you expect from a fairy?
I don’t think the author believes it, the author’s just hoping the readers are dumb enough to believe it.
The birther thing was started by Al Gore and Hillary’s buddy Phil Berg. I don’t think either can be described as Tea Partiers. The story was further cultivated by people associated with VIPS and Lyndon LaRouche, the exact same people who concocted the “Valerie Plame, deep cover superspy” scandal, among them Pat Lang. Some conservatives latched onto it but they sure didn’t start it.
I don’t think Netanyahu said they were illegally registered, he just pointed out the fact that a US linked group was bussing Arabs to the polls.
Cutting programs for the poor and downtrodden?
So the national debt under Obama has gone from 9 trillion to 18 trillion in 6 years and his budget increases it to 25 trillion and IT IS NOT ENOUGH, so show me the cuts Blumenfeld.
War mongers, the Democrats are the experts at pitting every human being against one another by any means necessary in order to continue to rape the few who are still working and pulling the wagon for all the union pensions so we can all support at least 3 levels of fire and police departments and scum bag politicians, better known as government servants.
I think we agree. The bussing strategies are targeted to people they believe will vote their way.
But, as they discovered in New Orleans and LA, once you have people on a bus, all sorts of shenanigans are possible. Those are usually discovered after an election is over.
