No, but you’re certifiably insane if you think that means that they “favor government” any less than a governor does. In many cases, they are more invested in government because the states (on the balance) are a little less ingrained in the permanent political class motif than any federal-level elected officials are.
Personally, I’d rather have a governor who has shown that (s)he can deliver results than a legislator who hasn’t shown any history of governing.
Freak the left right the freak out.

I know I have said this abut 20 times in the past month, but the exact same thing was said about Reagan in 1979. We all know how that went.
I refuse to hold my nose at the ballot box for a third straight time. I will stay home.
Your logic makes sense if you want an effective government. Why not join the League of Women Voters?

Cruz had a Log Cabin Republican on his staff a few years ago. I don’t know if he is still there.
I prefer to think of myself as adequately pessimistic.
The fix is in.
Vote how you want. I wouldn’t expect you to vote for a moderate. It won’t matter. We are getting another Socialist light regardless who us Conservatives vote for.
Yep. Our votes don’t count anymore. We can think they do and they certainly want us to think they do, but they don’t. They have got the manipulation down to a science. Last primary election, they ran so many conservatives it divided our votes into dilution so their candidate in Romney walked to an easy win, especially with all the shenanigans they pulled like not even having others on the Virginia ballot.
2016 will be more of the same. The GOP elite hate conservatives and will make darn sure one is not nominated for the presidency. They have the house and senate and there is no way they are going to let a principled conservative play with Congress to do damage to their Socialist light plans.
The fix is truly in. I think it will be Jeb Bush but we’ll have to wait and see.

You’re out of luck. Cruz had a Log Cabin Republican on his staff a few years ago.
I’m not “saying” anything. I’m not “implying” anything and I’m not asking you to “infer” anything. I asked a pretty straight forward question and you responded like I’m trying to sandbag you. I’m not.
If you’d rather not discuss it like gentleman, that’s fine. If you want to reply to a straight forward question with a straight forward answer, that’s fine too.
Until someone announces, endorsements are for liberals.
