Former Massachusetts Governor and failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney is not yet ready to relinquish his title as the head of the pale-pastels establishment wing of the Republican Party to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
"A senior Republican who has met with Mitt Romney" tells Politico that Romney is telling donors on Wall Street "not to commit to a candidate that is not their first choice and that they arent excited about. He does not think much of the current field and does not think it is jelling. He still views himself as the leader of the establishment wing of the Republican Party."
Romney also reportedly "does not feel he owes the Bushes anything and does not think Jeb is the defacto leader of the establishment GOP."
Its definitely a change in his message [tilted more toward running]," the Republican said.
Romney, who leads the potential 2016 field in a CNN poll and has led in New Hampshire polls, has indicated that he would not run again unless most of the candidates urged him to do so....

Ain't gonna happen.
Christie and Romney are both going to talk smack and bluff, but in the end, they will coalesce behind Jeb Bush. Because the powers-that-be that are yanking the Republican Party's chain is going to demand it; that there will no multiple RINOs running for POTUS so a conservative can push through.
The more one declares his commitment to communism, the more popular he is. Jane Fonda predicted as such.
The establishment has total control of the party here in Iowa as well. They would be happy with either of them, I have no doubt.
I am thinking that Jebbie will be the nominee: there’s no stopping the liberal inevitable. But we don’s have to vote for him.
The GOP was like this for decades. Reagan was actually the exception.
Even if Cruz beats Jebbie in a debate, why would you think that would impress the Republican primary voters? They are so uninformed that they wouldn’t even know Cruz had upended Jebbie.
That’s right, he could not win MI or MA and didn’t even campaign in either state.
I vote Constitution Party in 2016 if Romney or Jebbie is the nominee: not that it would matter in the least.
Reminds me of Big Enis,Little Enos.
They don't and they won't.

As if I needed one . . .
That is probably the case.
That’s ok Mitt, we think Jeb sucks as much as you do too.
Bingo!

Awesome advice Mitt, it describes how I feel about you to a tee, except that you aren't my second, third, fourth or fifth choice either, by the way should we ask your son if really want to be president this time?
But we can. We are legion.
There is even talk of a Graham candidacy. McCain, for one, is pushing it.
I'd view the primary purpose of a Graham candidacy as being to deny South Carolina to Ted Cruz.
That is why he fits the Republican party so well; look at how the party has acted [its inaction] over the past 6 years, even on things that are no-lose [taking a hatchet to the NSA after the domestic espionage; the IRS] — they are utterly unwilling to stand for anything, so they fall for anything.
