Sen. John McCain is prodding one of his closest allies in the Senate to consider a run for the White House Sen. Lindsey Graham.
I think he is looking at it, and I am strongly encouraging him to take a look at it, McCain, R-Ariz., told ABC News. I know of no one who is better versed and more important on national security policy and defense than Lindsey Graham, and I dont think these challenges to our security are going away.
He is eminently qualified, McCain added.
In an interview with The Weekly Standard last month, Graham, R-S.C., said he might consider a presidential bid after this years midterm elections if other candidates arent promoting an aggressive foreign policy agenda.
If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobodys out there talking - me and McCain have been talking - I may just jump in to get to make these arguments, Graham said.
On CNN's State of the Union Sunday, Graham said running for president is "the hardest thing one could ever do. You go through personal hell. You have got to raise a ton of money. I'm nowhere near there."(continued)

Oh great, now we can have our first GAY president. :/
That ship has sailed.
Not this crap again??
The RINOs are just making sure that they assist their fellow DemonRat s by splitting the vote among Republicans so that the D’s win the next election..
> Oh great, now we can have our first GAY president. :/
2nd, black, worst....
No chance. I’m in Lindsay’s district ... soon to be in Gowdy’s district.
There are just no words . . ..
Oldplayer
He should run! And he should resign from his Senate seat to focus all of his attention on it while he’s at it.
He could always be a lobbyist for GOProud after Super Tuesday...
Wow I am really standing up and taking notice.
Morons say that a Asshole says that a Nimrod should run for President.
OMG. You truly cannot make this stuff up.
Miss Lindsey...the first female President.
Who is running the Log Cabin Republicans these days?
oh the Liberal Republicans want to lose...again.
Aside from Ebola, you might almost have to count Klinton. I don’t think he was intentionally gay per se, but he was so indiscriminate if he found a hole somewhere, he’d poke it, so that sorta counts.
Graham will certainly not hurt a conservative, but might draw away Bush supporters. I think we should also try to get Christie, and any other RINO Squish. get them split the GOPe vote for once and we can coalesce around Cruz.
John really wants his friends on the other side of the aisle to win the executive branch in 2016.
