The Ben Carson Factor. We Need A Black American On The 2016 Ticket. All Agreed?

Posted on 11/10/2014 6:08:45 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

It sure looks like Ben Carson is running. And if we want to win in 2016, we need to take a good chunk of the black vote. Ben Carson can "Woo Black Voters" into the Republican Party. All he has to do is tell them the truth regarding how Dem's actually feel about them. More like using them as pawns. Adding Ted Cruz to the ticket would be our best bet. Now we have a "Black/Latino Ticket". The Carson/Cruz or Cruz/Carson ticket is considered a Dream Ticket for many conservatives. That's the ticket that will bring in lots of minority voters. We could nominate the Dream Ticket of "Walker/Pence, or Walker/Cruz",but it wont be a sure thing in Blue States. Any combination of Carson/Cruz/West is still our best bet in 2016.

I disagree. We need the best man on the ticket. That’s Ted Cruz.

Cruz is my man too! what worries me is more fraud in blue states that will cost the GOP the election. Carson or West as VP would likely bring in some of the black vote, especially black males.

Wouldn’t hurt evidently, but we’re not going to be running against a black guy this time. We’re going to be running against a haggish woman. How about Cruz/Haley?

Dr. Carson would be a great Surgeon General under a President Walker or Cruz.

I could care less about his color. I want to know what he thinks of the matters coming to him in the White House.

I don’t know if it was true or not, but I read in the lamestream media that he compared himself to Moses with a calling to the White House... Might have a big ego problem...if he really said it and is not him just being smeared. Elitist attitudes...well libs ran that stupid act into the ground.

I don’t care if he’s a brain surgeon, I want to know his core values and character as an American man. I know plenty of super smart doctors who would easily convert into Hitler or Mao if they had the power...they think so highly of themselves and so lowly of everyone else. I want to know what he’ll do to fix the messes we are in. I hope he’s good.

Trevor Loudon is a genius

Reading his “Enemies Within” right now.

Sometimes it takes a guy from New Zealand to point out how the democrats and unions are Communist fronts, because the GOP sure as well can’t do it.

Like this “Team” idea a lot.

Heh Ben: “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

So no skin color isn’t a factor. I swear I’m so far the rabbit hole nothing makes sense anymore. I’m to the point i am going to resist violently to this idiocey.

I always wonder why so many conservatives think blacks love these guys? They hate them and view them as sell outs. Carson would get less black support than a white Republican. They view the white Republicans as at least being what they are supposed to be. I don’t get the logic either. Most blacks hate these guys. It’’s not right but that’s the political reality.

How about picking a candidate based on their ideas and character instead of their skin color?

Disagree. Racial politics is what rats do. The R nominee should express a message that transcends race.

If Ben Carson he weren’t Black, he wouldn’t be pushed by the Republicans to run and he wouldn’t be running. America should stop making race the first factor. If it’s a Black you’re wanting to back, then Allen West has more relevant experience to be president of the U.S. than does Ben Carson. West could and would run even if he were not Black.

I do not believe the voters will accept anyone without political experience. That is his big negative. If he wants to serve as a senator or governor for 8 or 10 years, it would be a different story.

I still agree that a Cruz/Walker or Walker/Cruz is within the top 3 dream tickets. but can they take Ohio and Florida?

And if we want to win in 2016, we need to take a good chunk of the black vote.

Who wrote this? Bush won without a "good chunk of the black vote." The recent Democratic defeats were without "a good chunk of the black vote" But wait there's more

Ben Carson can "Woo Black Voters" into the Republican Party.

Like Herman Cain failed to do and Alan Keyes failed to do?

All he has to do is tell them the truth regarding how Dem's actually feel about them.

Wow. I'm sure they've never heard that before, but coming from CARSON I'm sure they'll believe it. Total load of unsubstantiated opinion.

“The state — or, to make matters more concrete, the government — consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can’t get, and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time it is made good by looting ‘A’ to satisfy ‘B’. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is a sort of advanced auction on stolen goods.”

H L Mencken
