Sarah Palin has finally lost it.
In an essay on Breitbart.com, Palin demands the impeachment of President Barack Obama.
Her piece starts off loopy and devolves from there.
"Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president," she begins. "His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, 'no mas.'"
I'm sorry, what? Why the switch to espanol? Is she implying Obama is a wife beater? That America is a battered, Spanish-speaking esposa?
No idea, but by the end of her essay, I felt positively battered by her battiness.
She accuses the president of orchestrating illegal border crossings (a favorite canard of the loony right) and "obstructing any economic recovery" in order to provide "cheap foreign labor."
Disingenuously, this privileged celebrity — with her seven-figure cable and book contracts, her family sea plane, her boats and her multiple homes — describes herself as an "average" American.
"Have faith that average American workers — native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties — do care because we're the ones getting screwed as we're forced to follow all our government's rules while others are not required to do so," she writes. "Many now feel like strangers in their own land." (If you are a resident of a border state, exposed to the region's centuries-old mix of cultures and language, you'd have to be oblivious to your surroundings to suddenly feel like a stranger in a strange land.)

The author inadvertently swerved dangerously close to the truth with that remark.
I think she might actually take a little time to rebut this toady, by publicly asking him, “Why are you defending this worthless excuse for a president? His utter disdain for America, the American people, our constitution, and our laws, has reached a point where we need to impeach, not just for high crimes and misdemeanors, but incompetence and malfeasance.
“He has surrounded himself with radicals who openly despise America, who do everything in their power to sour relations with our allies, while embracing our enemies, offering them aid, comfort and counsel. He arrogantly abuses his office in numerous ways, he bows before foreign tyrants, he opens our borders to a stampede of impoverished children despised and expelled by their own nations, accompanied with a huge flow of violent gangs, dangerous criminals, and a river of narcotics. Then he orders all of them sneaked into our towns and cities surreptitiously, for he shuns the light of truth and justice like a cockroach on the kitchen floor.
“His subordinates corrupt their offices, behaving like gangsters whose sole motivation is to unlawfully reward their friends while persecuting their enemies.
“And when anyone calls them on it, they scream “Racism!”, which they would do if caught robbing a bank while gunning down innocent people. As if “How dare you demand that we follow the rules? Anything we want is ours for the taking, and because we are the ‘elites’, we can do what we want to you disgusting peasants!
“So once again, I ask. Why are you defending this worthless excuse for a president? What is wrong with you? Are you corrupt yourself, or just simple minded. Are you like they are, filled to the brim with hate and greed of all that is precious and good?
“You should be ashamed of yourself. You and the rest of your lickspittle peers in the media. The public despises and distrusts you for good reason.”
