Eric Cantor, next Republican National Committee chairman?
Former RNC chair Michael Steele thinks it's a possibility after the House majority leader was defeated Tuesday in a Virginia Republican primary.
"With the upcoming presidential election, there's a lot of interest in Eric Cantor serving as national chairman of the RNC," Steele said Saturday on MSNBC's "Up With Steve Kornacki."
"In fact I think he'd be interesting because he started dialogues on poverty and some other issues that were sort of outside of what Republicans have traditionally talked about. So he could bring a very interesting voice into that space," he said.

Ping.
People who still say we need to vote GOP, do you get the message now?
THEY DONT WANT US!
Say what happened to that guy in charge of the V.A.? That story sure has conveniently disappeared.
Dude, that was like two weeks ago. MoveOn.
And yet some people insist we support the GOP.
“Insist’ is too mild a term, but your intent is dead on.
I said it earlier but at this point, the people who keep pushing that line are as much the problem as any democrat. More really since they, like the GOP is supposed to be the opposition. They are the enemy in our camp. They are sinking the knife into the back of conservatism to go along/get along with the liberal republicans and to empower them.
The liberal republicans are the people protecting Obama, Holder, Peloosi, Reid, Lerner and Hillary! from being held to account for dead Americans, dead Mexicans, abandoned allies and the rest.
Actions have consequences. The action is supporting the above. The consequence is we cannot get rid of RINOs because of them.
We all see who these people are in their posts. So hold them to their words and treat them accordingly.
The weasel to head up the gop? Makes logical sense to me.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
The Loser Party strikes again
