I voted for Goldwater...and they said if I were to do that the war in Viet Nam would get worse...I voted for Goldwater and that is exactly what happened.
I wasn’t old enough to vote. Didn’t pay too much attention to politics back then, but the MSM made him and Phyllis Schafley kinda looney.
When I got through school, and could vote, I started digging into stuff, and trying to understand and be well informed on issues. That’s when I began to have a real appreciation for those two people, and a firmer grasp on what was happening to our freedom.
