Sarah Palin for Senate might be back on the table.
The former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee could be inching closer to running for US Senate against incumbent Democrat Mark Begich.
Palin appeared on the Fox News Channel today and expressed strong support for Sen. Ted Cruz (R Tex.) who is leading an effort to remove funding for Obamacare through the legislative process. In July, Palin noted that Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee (R Utah) and others on Capitol Hill (perhaps including Sen. Rand Paul) need reinforcements to limit the growth of government and cut federal spending, and she expressed similar sentiments today.
Palin also blasted the infighting among defeatist Republican insiders who oppose Cruzs effort and therefore capitulate to liberals on socialized medicine. Instead of Obamacare, she favors a law that is more patientcentered and market-based (rather than government-based) that will in her view provide better insurance coverage for the country.
In an ongoing series of polls, Obamacare continues to be very unpopular with the American people.....

Palin isn’t running for Senate. It’s beneath her.
Maybe she'll run against Juan next time?
Actually I agree with you.
Wouldn’t put it past her, but I think she’s likely to be holding out for the Presidency.
Just saying. :D
The Begich campaign, trying to stem the flow of republican money to Treadwell
I really think Palin is going to run as an Independent, and I’ll be right behind her. I don’t care who the GOP nominates.
I think she just Winters there.
I am 100% in agreement with you, on this.
I know a lot of Palin supporters are not yet ready to bail, but I’m not one of those.
All I’m waiting for, is one word from Palin. That’s all it will take.
I wish she would. She won’t.
That would be a really bold move and might be the beginning of really big things in the way that American politics are run.

The national media would have a field day destroying her, if she ran.
I myself think Palin is more valuable outside of public office. I’d be happy to vote for her if she ran for anything, but I truly believe she has more impact from the outside. I see her as kind of a Karl Rove of conservatism; and given that there IS a Karl Rove, and there IS a Reince Priebus and there IS a Juan McCain and a Lindsay Graham (I think those are two separate people but I am not sure) a person holding office is insufficient balance for those GOPe hacks.
Well, what could the media do? Accuse her of complicity in a mass-murder? Oops, already done that. Try to portray her as corrupt via endless bogus lawsuits pushed by sleazoid political operatives? Covered. Spend millions making a Hollywood film depicting her as a mentally unbalanced diva? Already done. A slanderous book accusing her of being an adulterous crack-whore? Done. Trash her kids and family? Been there. Maybe they can get together and torch her church? Nope, that territory has already been covered as well.
What’s left? Maybe physically putting bullets in the chamber and lying in wait?
President - nothing else
Really? Have you been paying attention to America, and to Republicans? Are you aware that the Republican brand stands for waffling, vagueness, and hypocrisy? That while the Democrat knows exactly what he is voting for and what his candidate will deliver, that the Republican, for decades now, has ZERO idea of what voting Republican means anymore (it used to be limited government, but Romney was the exact opposite of that on every count, and in fact so was Dubya) or what policies any given Republican candidate will pursue?
I've been a Republican since turned was 18 in 1975. My mother has been a Republican since 1951, when she turned 21. She and I have voted loyally and steadfastly straight Republican ticket up until 2012 because we used to think like you do. We have woken up. You are still sound asleep.
You're not in Kansas anymore, 58. Whether or not you approve or like it, it's beyond your control. The Republican party is now the "nonsense."
I could definitely see her in a senate run against McCain ...
If we do not have the numbers to control the Republican Party, how will we ever have the numbers to control the public at large?
I was up in Alaska recently, on the train ride down from Denali they pointed out her place in Wasilla and said she visits now and then.
In general, Alaska folks didn’t seem too enthusiastic about Sarah. Did hear some positive comments about current Gov. Parnell.
