In sports, you try to take away your opponents’ strength. Same here. The Dems knew the Roves and the RNC were useless. It was the Tea Party strength that produced 2010. Hence the strategy. IMO.

I suspected that, too.
George Bush appointed that POS Schulman to head the IRS when the TEA Party persecution began. Anyone watching his performance before Congress should ask why he was ever given a job that required intelligence and responsibility.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that some of the establishment GOP types were in on this attack on conservative Americans.

If there is a special prosecutor we’ll be seeing letters from John McCain and Lindsay Graham asking for IRS investigations of the Tea Party before all is said and done.
I think TIIC are afraid of a viable third party.
