Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Monday vowed to oppose any candidate that supports a bipartisan bill on background checks.
Please see the link below for why the latest gun control bill should be filibustered and defeated, Palin wrote in a Facebook post. I can not and will not support politicians who support any more limits on our Second Amendment rights.
The link takes readers to a fact sheet that appears to have been put together by Palins political action committee, SarahPAC, called Why the Schumer-Toomey-Manchin Gun Registry Bill Should Be Filibustered and Defeated.
Among the claims on the fact sheet are that private sellers who advertise a gun for sale on a poster at church could be imprisoned, and that the bill would lead to a national gun registry.
The Toomey-Manchin proposal would close the so-called gun show loophole and require background checks and record keeping for firearms purchased at a gun show, online or through a classified ad. Failure to meet the background-check requirements would be classified as a felony.....

I’d like to hear her say the same about the immigration bill.
Got the right 2DV. Palin’s Grassroots Army will trounce Rove and his DC Astroturffers.
She did took a swipe at the Gang of 8 immigration proposal when asked specifically about their plan, calling it a “bureaucratic regulatory solution” to the problem
I’d like her to cook me some trout and venison stew, give me a cabinet position when she’s elected president and plug my new book on her Facebook page.

campaign contribution.
She was on the wrong line on the ticket.
Not to mention that McLame was on the wrong party column.
I doubt that. Although I plan to bundle at least $2 million dollars for her campaign, she’s not that type of politician, from all that I’ve seen.
Logging on to say “bump” to Ms. Palin.
Hope she’s considering a candidacy.
My impression is that business lobbies support an amnesty, so if she plans to run for higher office, that will be a sticking point if she hopes to attract any money from that corner.
People like me will get her all the money she needs. She has millions of followers and supporters. There’s a “Twibe” on Twitter of Palin people and goodness knows how many blogs.
She better be prepared to stick the shiv to Juan McAmnesty ...
OMG! How many times do we have to go over this?
Right on!!!
That should make things interesting vis-a-vis McCain, who has said he would support it. Even though Captain RINO isn’t running next year, seeing them on opposite sides will be refreshing.
Start with 1,000 and work upward from there.
If she hadn’t supported mccain there would only be a gang of seven.
Had she not resigned as governor of Alaska, she would not now be in a position to make such a credible threat. She made the the right decision.
Well, you might get the trout and venison, at least, for that kind of scratch.
