Pressure is growing Thursday afternoon on a liberal super PAC in Kentucky accused of surreptitiously recording a strategy session held by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Jacob Conway, the Jefferson County Democratic Partys executive committee member who originally accused Progress Kentucky of making the recording, told NBC News he was on his way to talk to the FBI about the allegations. And the groups treasurer confirmed he had quit his position after the audio was published.
At this time based on advice of both friends and counsel, I will be not be making a public statement available until everything has been reviewed by an attorney at this time, Douglas L. Davis told NBC News. I have resigned my position as treasurer and did not and do not condone any allegations of illegal activity that might have taken place.
Conway told Louisvilles NPR affiliate earlier Thursday that two Progress Kentucky employees bragged to him about recording the meeting through a door in McConnells office.
Conway said Shawn Reilly and Curtis Morrison told him they snuck into McConnells freshly-opened campaign office February 2, not long after McConnell held an open house for GOP activists and media members. They heard the meeting going on through a closed door and recorded it.....

BS
One Rat ratting out another Rat...probably hoping to avoid getting indicted himself.
Besides, she IS nuts.
Don’t let anyone get away with it. Go for the full sentence.
Eric Holder is sure to prosecute this illegal activity.
If there is no jail time for breaking and entering this will prove to me again how corrupted our government actually is. It will just strengthen my conviction that our government is no longer a government by the people but instead by the corrupt.
Donkey crooks and GOP victim? Nothing to see here, move along.
Mitch is bigger than anyone thought.
Any catcalls of “turtleneck” out there, now?
These two troublemaking pixies need to be in prison.
I like this. Somebody is turning the thumbscrews. The rats have independently weaved webs of lies, apparently in a panic, before they had a chance to get their stories lined up, and have ended up with a hopeless tangle. Look for more rats to bail soon.
I’m sure he/they were richly rewarded.
...”Look for more rats to bail soon.”
Pffft. IMO, they’ll scatter two or three shiny objects over here and over there and in two weeks this will be a nothingburger. And if they bail (whatever that means, they are undoubtedly going to be well paid) not only are there plenty more where they came from, but these two/few will lay low and find themselves doing something else in a few years. To the left, these guys are heroes.
You be guilty be.....
Of course they are, but they may fear the possibility that an honest FBI crew and US attorney get involved in the investigation. I know the chances are slim with Holder in charge, but the mice may not want to risk being the token foil, if Senate Minority Leader McConnell demands one. ...Like in National Treasure: "Somebody has to go to jail, Ben."
..any bets; they’ll insist on McConnell, going to jail..just askin’ :-P
Mitch wields weight in his state.
The demonic-rats picked the wrong man to mess with.
Who is “she”?
Watergate without the break in.
