If true, I wonder how trespassing / illegal entry laws apply to one's office space in a public building. Surely a critter's office is no less private than the west wing is.

I like this. Somebody is turning the thumbscrews. The rats have independently weaved webs of lies, apparently in a panic, before they had a chance to get their stories lined up, and have ended up with a hopeless tangle. Look for more rats to bail soon.

“I have resigned my position as treasurer and did not and do not condone any allegations of illegal activity that might have taken place.” Love this. Read it carefully. He doesn't condone the allegations. Someone needs to ask him if that means he condones the illegal activity.
