If Miss Rice cannot answer the criticism, she certainly does not deserve a promotion. But no one should dignify this ridiculous gambit by wringing their hands, and hesitating to make the perfectly valid point, that the woman deliberately misrepresented what was happening in Libya.
And by the way, if anyone needs to clean up their approach to dealing with other races, it is those in this Administration, who try to blame Whites for all sorts of problems, that have nothing to do with White attitudes. (None of us sat in a church for 20 years, where they "damned" America, either.

This is nothing ‘new’.
When hillary was running against Lazio, he called her ma’am (which is what young Catholic boys are taught to call female elders - like sir for men) and stepped from behind the podium and he was accused of ‘attacking’ and bullying her because she was a she (well supposedly).
Also the ADM (GEN?) that was calling Boxer ma’am (which BTW is(was) the Military Custom for a male addressing a Senior (in rate/rank) female, or an older female)
AND both times (including numerous other type examples) the LIBS got away with it.
Like Gingrich or not, if he was in a leadership position this petty name calling etc would at least be challenged.
