This crap again. My Mother lives in an elderly home and when the dems pull this she always calls me and says, “everybody’s saying we could lose our benefits”. At the same time, I can’t picture most of the people in her building even voting.

“My understanding is there is no cuts, just a slower rate of growth. On the face of it, it looks to not go far enough because it still relies on deficit spending. You guys better get your financial house in order. You’re fast approaching a cliff and all the demagoguery about tax cuts for the rich isn’t going to stop the inevitable. Get your spending under control or the US is headed for catastrophe.”
