After the election of Barack Obama in 2008, Rush Limbaugh took to the airwaves in January 2009 to announce his hope for the failure of Barack Obama's policies. He was very quick to make sure people understood he was not against Obama due to the color of his skin, but solely due to his policies.
In the same vein, I would like to announce a similar sentiment. I agree with Rush that Obama's polices should fail, and I hope they do. I also hope that the policies and philosophies of Mitt Romney fail as well.

So, we are wrong.
And you aren't a FReeper, are you!
No sale, junior.
I'm done voting for liberals, period. I believe Tom is legitimate. I believe he means what he says. I can vote for Tom with pride.
If you like Romney and can vote for him with pride, then go for it. If supporting him makes you feel ashamed of yourself, then check out Tom as an alternative.
And, by all means, trust God. We're going to be all right.
More tiresome babble from the kook fringe.
Okay, Shakespeare, don’t waste any more time trying to convince me.
I’m not voting for your favorite liberal.
Obama was raised to despise the western form of government and way of life. Was Romney?
Obama was mentored by communists. Was Romney?
Obama allied himself politically with domestic leftwing terrorists and racial seperatist preachers. Has Romney?
As president Obama is determined to expand state power unilaterally, if needed, because he is a Marxist ideologue. Would Romney?
BTW you've been here long enough to be more careful who you make friends with.
I can’t help you, skeeter. If you like Romney, vote for him.
I already have a candidate.
I did my part and didn’t vote for Romney in the primaries.
I will now VOTE for Romney.
Obama has to go.
I don’t like Romney at all, but the prospect of another four years of Obama will make me vote for him.
Are my principles compromised by doing so? Of course. Do I know already that my principles are being killed by BO? Yes.
This isn’t a vote between a liberal and a communist or a RINO and a socialist. It’s for a Republic over a tyrant.
If you feel you can sleep better voting for a guy why has no chance so that as Rome v 2.0 takes place you can yell you didn’t vote for Romney with a spear in your chest, then it is what it is.
God doesn’t care much about politics, so if you are hoping he will save you from bad policies and tyranny, you’ll be forever waiting. That’s the fall out of granting man Free Will. We are free to doom ourselves, God will not stop that.
But I can appreciate your honesty, so best of luck to you and Tom I guess.
Yeah, it is amazing in a way. Some folks just have not yet got it through their heads that there are a lot of us who will not just jump on their train this year. How could we reject Mitt Romney? He's been given the Karl Rove Seal of Approval - what's not to like?
As time goes on, it will become more clear to them that they are asking too much from too many people this time. It is not likely that Romney will be able to expand his liberal base widely enough to make up for the loss of conservative support.
Maybe they'll listen to us next time, who knows?
In nearly six months of posts NOTHING but anti-Romney stuff. I mean NOTHING. I reviewed the whole posting record and I encourage you and others to do the same.
And typically the most superflous and scurrilous of the DNC talking points (lied about his tenure at Bain Capital, Stericycle, dog in a cage on the car, that sort of crap.)
NOT ONE SINGLE pro-conservative, anti-liberal or anti-Obama opinion voiced. Zero. Zip, Zilch. Nada.
Even Diogenesis, for all his high-volume colorful graphical romneyhating occasionally, although very rarely, makes an anti-liberal or pro-conservative post.
My inescapable conclusion: Tau Food is a troll. Paid or not, who cares. Still a troll.
advisors??? gotta come up better with that. I can tell Obama to quit. and I can tell Romney to be a conservative.. Neither have to do what I say..
I counter with this..
Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans, has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters (75%) of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced, instead tapping registered Democrats or independents including two gay lawyers who have supported expanded same-sex rights.
Look.. I am going to vote for the guy. But I am smart enough to know he is only slightly to the right of Obama.. I am not happy about it but that is the choice it boils down to. Obama will never kill Obamacare. Romney might. It’s a weak nail to hang my had on. but it’s all we have right now.
Maybe you should put a little time in around here and get to know some of us before saying such foolish things.
Relax, Nervous, don't get yourself so excited.
Congratulations on an honest post. Too many ABOs won't admit what they are voting for. Romney will not get my vote because I'm accountable to God for my vote and I won't vote for an abortionist. I'm admitting that freely.
God doesnt care much about politics
Sure He does. Read Isaiah 28:14-16.
Like I said, some Freepers need to be more careful who they hang out with.
Agreed. It's all we have; to hope that Flipper will flip once more and govern as he has campaigned that he will.
OK, skeeter, I'll do my best to get to know you better. We're going to do just fine together. ;-)
Obama, with the most radical views on abortion possible, has not changed his position. We do know he's still radically pro abortion.
One or the other will be president come January. There will be no other outcome.
