Henry V's "St. Crispian's Band of Brothers" speech ...
Henry V -- St. Crispin's Day Speech - (click)
This day is called the Feast of Crispian.
He that outlives this day and comes safe home
Will stand a-tiptoe when this day is named
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall see this day and live t' old age
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours
And say, "Tomorrow is Saint Crispian."
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars
And say, "These wounds I had on Crispin's day."
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember, with advantages
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester
Be in their flowing cups freshly remembered.
This story shall the good man teach his son,
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered,
We few, we happy few, we Band of Brothers.
For he today that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition.
And gentlemen in England now abed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's Day.

Dedicated to all those Free Republic "Band of Brothers" ... Thank you for that recognition, friend. I'm quite proud to remain standing with those who do more than pay lip service to our country, Founding Principles, core beliefs, and our beloved Constitution.

Romney's values are such that he thinks it's "right" and "moral" to force adoption agencies to cooperate with gay couples' "right" to adopt kids.
This story shall the good man teach his son ...
My Shakespeare is limited, I have a hard time undestanding him. For the first time, I "get" the St. Crispian's Day speech.
All the more poignant because this is my first Father's Day without my dad to yak with. In this most profound of elections, I don't have him to consult with, and he was a Thomas Sowell-like thinker. TS was his #1 living favorite.
So I can only consult my own gut, brain, heart, and values. They've been most influenced by the best, most moral political mind I've known and loved.

(A deal with the devil is ALWAYS a losing proposition. Voting for Romney to avoid Obama is just that.)

Too long; didn’t read.
Unless you can name a more viable candidate than the (unfortunate) GOP candidate, then you have nothing to offer and your opinion can be safely ignored.
Also, personally, I’m not voting for national preacher. I’m voting to get rid of Obama. I don’t need a dubious, lame attempt at a sermon from some poseur who fancies himself a preacher. You aren’t selling that very well either. Please pester someone who cares to hear your opinion. I don’t

The True Blue Crowd is mocking this thread. And further more I might add they are ripe for some True Blue Funnies. Those Donkeys are exactly what we call Rino. They even ran off that one guy who liked Bachmann but hates Palin. Man I forgot his name. But he got banned here and there.
They are the reason I dislike Romney supporters. Those guys dislike Palin with the same passion we dislike Romney. No love lost between these two people. Romney and Palin.
