Well, I most certainly am saying that, and there are plenty of posts I’ve made to back it up. The tea-party politicians are just that - politicians like all the others trying to get their guy elected, and Cruz has managed to get in with them.
That does not mean Lt. Gov. Dewhurst is not a conservative himself, and it does not mean that Cruz is the best selection for Texas, and I think Dewhurst would be the selection of the tea-party if they knew Texas and hadn’t committed themselves so early to making Cruz part of their tea-party slate.
This is America, everyone’s entitled to their opinion.
Now that's just ignorant. The TEXAS Tea Parties support Ted Cruz, and if anyone knows Texas, they do.
