Why is Glenn Beck lying to destroy Newt?? Glenn has voiced support for Santorum while his actions are pushing Mitt. On his propaganda page the blaze in one day he had 14 hit pieces on Newt, 9 puff pieces on Mitt and 2 stories mentioning Santorum {one of those could be considered negative}. The amount of dishonesty in those articles and his radio show is mind boggling. Glenn is abusing the trust people have placed in him and trying to get the most liberal candidate the nomination.
Newt was surging in Iowa so Glenn went scorched earth and by catching people by surprise, they fell back on their trust for Beck and gave Iowa to Santorum. By the time South Carolina rolled around people were seeing through Beck and Newt won. Going into Fl. Newt pulling ahead and Beck having used up his trust the baton was passed to Drudge and down goes Newt again.

Breitbart was right and we could have saved a lot of grief had we listened to him. Glenn Beck hasn't been telling us what he was for but outright lying and attacking Newt and anyone that backs Newt. Beck is willing to destroy the election process using Alinsky tactics to get Mittens in. We have been had.
My goal isn't to flame but to cause thought. I know Beck has fans and I know he has FOLLOWERS. Followers can't be reasoned with. Man has a need for God and many times and for many reasons people try to deify other men. I suggest they draw closer to the real God.
I can lead you to knowledge but I can't make you think. I hope you take this and carefully consider this post. Accept it or dismiss it, it's cool. I expect some of you will not and will lash out. Let the games begin..

Dittos and on top of that he made some uncalled for attacks on Herman Cain. I have no clue who this Beck guy is anymore I use to think I understood him.
Have turned him off and canceled my subscription to GBTV.....

Why is it sad? Romney is devout...ergo his faith informs his character, his behavior, and his decisions.
It would be irresponsible, even stupid, not to investigate and understand what his religion is.
Hell I don’t like Gingrich or Romney and I’ve felt that way since before I ever heard of Beck.
As far as Beck is concerned, I know he’s a real stickler for telling people to do their own research and not take his word for it. The left on the other hand, simply calls all opposition “Liars” and tries to discourage anyone from hearing them.

Up to about a year ago I found Beck very entertaining. Then gradually it started sounding a little canned, like intellectual spam. Beckery was becoming Beckism. It was like at any moment he’d announce there were levels of mastery and I’d be assigned a station with a number value...and have to buy a package of materials if I wanted to continue my progress.
So I bailed.
I don’t know jack about Mormons and don’t care to. That said, his political views may well have everything to do with Mormonism.
In other words, Beck’s a mountebank. Take him as such and know serenity.

I listen to Glenn’s show everyday on the radio. He has excoriated Romney many times. To say he is endorsing Romney is nuts.
Yet none of them do any ‘homework’. Call his show in opposition and see what happens. They will gang up on you and shout you down

I’m not crazy about either Newt or Romney. Both are seriously flawed, but what Glenn is saying about Newt can’t be disputed. Glenn is using Newt’s own words. Even the majority on FR who seem now to have a man-crush on Newt can’t hide the fact they could not stand the guy last spring when he threw his hat in. Remember the Newt/Pelosi couch photo on every Newt thread? What happened to those? We on FR in the spring of 2011 when Newt was in the single digits were pretty much saying the same thing Beck is today. Beck has remained steadfast on his feelings for Newt, it is we that have changed.
The one thing I think we all can agree on is that in this “most important election in our life time”, is that the A-Team decided not to run. Varsity is sitting in the stadium. The biggest sacrifice our favorite conservatives are making is to go on record with an endorsement. And if that endorsement is not for Newt, then we throw them under the bus.
