Sarah Palin isnt running for President, but she may be trying to influence how people vote. According to ABC News, Palin said that if she lived in South Carolina, she would vote for Newt Gingrich.
Just one week after her husband Todd Palin went rogue and endorsed Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said tonight she would vote for Gingrich if I were a South Carolinian the closest she has come to an endorsement in this race.
Palin said tonight on Sean Hannity that she wants to see the race continue because iron sharpens iron, steel sharpens steel.
These guys are getting better in their debates, they are getting more concise, theyre getting more grounded in what their beliefs are and articulating what their ideas are to getting the country back on the right track and getting Americans working again, Palin said.
Hannity asked Palin if she was any closer to an endorsement of a presidential candidate.
Well, I could tell you what I would do if I were a South Carolinian, Palin told Hannity.
Thats close to an endorsement, Hannity said.
If I had to vote in South Carolina, in order to keep this thing going Id vote for Newt and I would want this to continue, Palin said. More debates, more vetting of candidates because we know the mistake made in our country four years ago was having a candidate that was not vetted, to the degree that he should have been so that we knew what his associations and his pals represented and what went into his thinking, the shaping of who our president today is.
So Sarah Palin doesnt want to get tagged with endorsing anyone, but if she had to vote she would vote for Gingrich. I dont know how much weight Palin will carry when it comes to an endorsement or non-endorsement endorsement, but the question is should she weigh in or not? Do you like the fact that Palin seems to be getting into the middle of the GOP primary battle? Let us know in todays LFN Poll of the Day.

Why the hell not? Since she’s been off the radar, the Palin attacks have subsided, but I’ll bet if she endorses someone the establishment and Dims don’t want on the ticket, there will be an all new hate-Sarah campaign.
This is a Texan radio or station?

Yes 54% ..oh well, I voted yes — it can’t hurt Newt
No 46%
Not sure 0
Should Gov. Christie have gotten involved? Should he have endorsed Romney?
Christie’s name circled around as a possible presidential contender; he let it string out for a time period then finally quashed the rumors.
If Clinton can give his (not worth “2 cents”)opinion then someone, like Sarah Palin, who is are REAL Conservative Republican, should be able to give her voice and have more sway as well.
Yes = 60%
No = 40%
Sarah can do whatever she pleases, IMHO. If people take or change positions on that basis, so be it.
Last I checked it is a free country.
68-32 yes, can’t be too many voting it’s changing too fast.
Not really, considering she is allegedly pushing a RINO down our throats. I’m not entirely convinced it’s real.
You betcha!
Damn straight Sarah can say her opinion.
It`s a sin that it is even a question.
I saw Palin on Fox...I’m glad she’s liking Newt. Newt would
be a better President than Obama has been. He would likely be better than Romney as well.
Hopefully enough Republicans will vote so Obama is not re-elected.
