Question:Regardless Of Whom GOP Nominee Is, Would Paul Ryan Be "The One" To Correlate The Base?
Posted on 12/21/2011 8:03:11 PM PST by The_Obama_Gerbil
Being Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio are the top two choices (unless there is a third) for VP, and being Rubio still doesn't show serious interest just yet, Paul Ryan is either the second or third choice on the short list. In your opinion, Would a Gingrich/Ryan or Romney/Ryan ticket put a major dent into Obama's 43% fan base? And who else is in the top five? John Thune or SOS Rice?

Oh, I left out Bob McDonnell. I think he is actually the secret first choice.

Newt would never select a right wing social engineer like Ryan.

Rubio is too new to the Senate - (yes, I know he has as much experience as Teh Won but the media will forget to mention that!)
I would love to see Paul Ryan as veep but I don’t know if Gingrinch would pick him - what about Santorum?

Bob McDonnell is my first choice. Rick Santorum would not be a bad VP choice. Ryan is better left in the Congress doing what he does best which is crunching numbers.
Marco Rubio likes being a senator and if the party wants to put him up for VP this time around there will be the question of eligibility which will cause a diversion we don’t need this year. I do predict that Rubio will give the keynote speech at the republican convention this year though.

Ryan has said repeatedly that he does not want to raise his children in DC, so he will not run for any office at this time that means that happens. When his children are grown he’ll be ready.
Smart man.

A friendly correction — I believe you meant “coalesce”, not “correlate”.
