I cannot believe people are ready to give Newt a pass for his many sins, but poor Rick screwed up once and he is cooked? That just seems so unfair to me. He was already punished once for this and others want to put the nails in the coffin. Can’t the guy be forgiven.......ever?

(Anybody but Romney, Newt, Perry, Huntsman, Paul. Perry and Obama are 100 percent the same!!!!!)

If every person who said, “I really like what Santorum stands for, but he’s going nowhere in the polls,” would actually decide to support him instead of choosing another candidate based on higher poll #’s, Santorum would easily be in the top three.

Newt said he was wrong, he was sorry, he has changed and is a new man.
Santorum said, I am smarter than you, you don't understand why I did those things, I know what is best for you, trust me.
The polls tell us which one of those is playing best with the voters. And it is not the "I am smarter than you" one.

The most notable thing Newt ever did was the Contract with America. The most notable thing Santorium ever did was run his truck over Pat Twomey in order to give Arlen the opportunity to stick his finger in the eyes of Republicans for 6 more years.

This fixation with Santorum's onetime Spector screw-up, given the fault-filled field we now have, is bizarre.

It's because people want to win. They see Newt as someone who could shred Obama as he shredded Romney on Saturday.
Newt all of a sudden looks like the grownup in the field.
