“I firmly believe that Sarah Palin will run, win the nomination, and ultimately the Presidency.”

I firmly believe that I don’t know what is going to happen.

Now what I “want” to happen is that a real social/fiscal conservative (NOT a moderate) will get the GOP nomination and stop Romney. Then I also “want” that person to win the general election and carry in a big change in both the Senate and House so that trully conservative members of the GOP will dominate congress and the oval office. I also “want” that they don’t ever forget what they represent.

Now is the best person to do this Sarah Palin? I do not know. However, I lean towards saying yes. I think she would be better than Perry and I think she would be even better if Bachmann was her VP running mate.

Also, I cannot believe that the day has come that this man (me) would find two women to be the best choices for POTUS. However, we live in “interesting” times.

Your instinct is steering you right, and here is why I think that's so.

Not only does Palin have the correct ideological orientation for most conservatives, she has honestly lived and governed by those concepts. Her twenty year track record of public service is replete with examples of her dogged determination to actually live up to her conservative ideals, despite what it might cost her, both personally, and professionally.

She is that rare public servant who really does take their oath of office seriously, and works tirelessly to live by their promise to do so. She has remained uncorrupted by her acquisitions of the reins of power, and has steadfastly maintained her personal integrity while doing the people's business.

More than all that, she has the natural leadership qualities that attract people to her, and the ability to inspire them to be better people themselves. She has courage and fortitude in unusual measure, which coupled with her unswerving devotion to our basic American principles, is a force too pure and formidable for some people to easily handle.

Others on the national stage may have their stellar qualities, but none has so many as she, nor in such great abundance. What none of them have, is the quality of her spirit, which cannot, and should not be underestimated. I see in her, someone with the potential to be a leader on par with the greatest figures of our nation's history. I saw that in her, the moment she first came into our national consciousness, and she's done nothing but reinforce that perception, ever since.

Sarah Palin was born for such a time as this. She has the precise personal attributes, experience, and orientation, to accomplish what must be accomplished by this country's next president.
