When it comes to choosing political parties I have been Democrat since the time I was allowed to vote. My family has different party affiliations and the people in my life choose one party over the other for reasons of their own. Ultimately no one forced me to become a Democrat, it just happened.
Under George W. Bush the Republican Party reminded me of exactly why I choose to be Democrat yet the Obama presidency has left me to wonder why I choose any party at all.
Politics may be very well about choosing a side and making sure the stars line up to have your side collectively come to a decision but when it comes to getting things done we need someone who has experience on the street, after all how worse can things get?
When the Yankees are down 3-1 in the 9th inning you can bet a designated hitter may be called up. Well, we are down 16 Trillion dollars so dont you think its time to vote someone in office who has a hit home run or two?
Donald Trump may not be the best candidate for president however do we need another politician in charge or someone who is actually aware of the financial mess America is in and has a personal interest in making the country whole again?
Some of the most successful political and global leaders in the world have all come from men and women with entrepreneurial backgrounds yet in America we hardly ever ask questions about a political candidates actual experience and vote based on how they make you smile, what party they are affiliated with and more unrelated factors to the actual ability of the person to do the job.....

I like my new one, too.
I like what I am seeing from the House so we just need someone who will roll with their policies. Take the Senate and let the Tea Party run the domestic agenda.
Hopefully Trump would hire capable hands on foreign policy because that is where the President really has almost complete power.
We must be on the OFFENSIVE. And the key element of that is only only to be ON offensive but also be OFFENSIVE.
We must knock them of their game and harrass them to no end, all through the remainder of 2011. I am convinced the Trump is the attack dog for this purpose. It is sheer psy war. We have seen this phenomenon before. In the Spring prior to election year, a bulldog needs to get on their case and cause them to worry, sweat, go on defensive, waste resources and effort, tire them down, and put them in a weak position cash wise and mentally for 2012.
A death of a thousand cuts.
It starts right here.
It starts right now.
Donald Trump (and others) are PRECISELY the people to do it!!
Trump might make Obama look good.
LOL
I think Trump might even be a worse president than Obama, if such a thing is possible. How many times has he gone bankrupt? I forget. He’s a meglomanical publicity whore. Sure, we all like to watch him taunt Obama and the LSM, but that is not anything resembling leadership.
LOL!
I’m convinced that Trump is a a stalking horse for Hillary, cleverly planted on the GOP side. He’s backed Democrat candidates or closet Democrat candidates in the past (Crist, Specter, Kirk), he’s got solid Democrat positions (pro-unions, pro-union protectionism, raise taxes on the wealthy, etc. He’s ‘pro-life’ probably in the stealth way that candidates like Christie and Romney in the past are: “I’m personally pro-life, but...”, while never having backed a pro-life candidate. And he’s in a great position to test and/or bring about the delegitimization of Obama for Hill.
Can the stupid party use him to their benefit without having it backfire? I don’t know.
This is the first step in the Clintons’ testing of their stalking horse’s ability to peel off Democrat votes. So far their Trump trial balloon has been working magnificently.
BTW, 2ndDV, I saw on another thread the statement that Rove has worked on Bachmann’s campaigns in the past and that he is suspected of nudging her into the presidential race as a way of derailing Palin. Any knowledge or thoughts on that?
Hillary might think that also, but she'd be mistaken.
Anyone that knows Trump knows he is no one's stalking horse. When Trump gets skin in a game, he is in it to win it (for Trump).
Whether or not Trump stays on their leash is another question, but there is no question but that he is a Democrat. We might as well run Crist as Trump, if that’s where the GOP wants to go.
I don't see how that's possible.
Oh, and if you think he won’t go Perot if he doesn’t get the GOP slot, I think you’re deluded. Two egotistical billionaires who couldn’t resist the bait.
When the going gets weird, the weird go Perot.
Link it please? That’s B.S.!
Rove loves Romney and even Jeb Bush.
Bachmann is very solid, and does not have anything to do with Rove. This sounds like a tactic from Palin supporters that are worried that many people will flock over to Bachmann. I like Palin, but know this is B.S.
Okay it’s time to put down your crack pipe.
I don't think I mentioned Perot.
