I used to have a good amount of respect for this guy and his opinions. Lately he's showing his "establishment Republican country club" side...along with Cavuto.

Find myself watching less Fox News....and more FreeRepublic.

I personally don't believe Sarah to be the answer for ending the madness taking place right now(not sure any human can pull us from this proverbial commode)....but certainly not for being...."weak"....,she and Bachmann have shown more b lls than all the GOP men in Congress combined...and she'd be a damned site better than the usurper occupying that office right now.

If he means "intellectually" weak...what do you call a narcissistic teleprompter reading Soros puppet?

Bottom line, if no one who is not currently on the horizon comes along, and she becomes the pick....I won't need a clothespin on my nose(like with McLame)to cast my vote in 2012.

The GOP yacht club better get it's head out of its arse....because the liberal establishment has declared war on this country....so jelly-spined appeasers need not apply.

Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way.

Charles Krauthammer is an elitist snob. What college you attended takes precedence for him over everything else.

I expect him to endorse Obama over Palin in 2012. The sickness is that bad in his head.

Krauthammer is right. Mitchell is a for real, accomplished and able conservative who would be an inspired choice to head the ticket. He’s got none of Palin’s glamour, but a thousand times her ability, and an incredibly impressive track record.

Conservatives wake up, and stop being dazzled by a photogenic face. Look beyond the glamour and listen to how thin and scattered her argumentation is, and how little depth of intellect and learning she displays. She is a lightweight with no significant accomplishments, who bailed out way too early from elective office to make a killing in the private sector. There are signs all over the place that she lacks the temperament for an honest to god leadership position.

We cannot afford another failed presidency, and that’s exactly what Palin would deliver.

Sober conservatives should have no trouble recognizing the superior leader when comparing Palin and Mitchell. Hands down, Mitchell gets the nod.

5/20/09 - “the key to Krauthammer’s appeal is the clarity of his opposition to Obama, which began soon after a December 2006 column in which he urged Obama to run for president and guaranteed that he would lose.”

The campaign began, and Krauthammer didn’t believe the hype. Where others were moved by Obama’s mass appeal, Krauthammer found his campaign “cultlike.” His broad statements of purpose made him a cipher on the specifics. The famous race speech was, Krauthammer’s headline declared, a “brilliant fraud.” His friendships with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers showed his “cynicism and ruthlessness.” http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0509/22743.html

Governor Mitch Daniels of Indiana a GOP presidential front-runner? Yeah, now there is a guy who can draw a hell of a crowd anywhere in America.

What is Krauthammer smoking?

Thank you for revealing the often overlooked liberal side of Charles Krauthammer. He is pro-choice and pro-gay marriage — and vehemently anti-Palin.

During the 2008 campaign, Krauthammer urged social conservatives to “grow up” and support Rudolph Guiliani for president. The cross-dressing, wife-ditching candidate from Babylon on the Hudson got far fewer votes than Palin ever would.

Now Krauthammer is pushing another squishy “conservative” Mitch Daniels. Mitch wants a truce on social issues. He does not care if the liberals destroy the foundations of civilization, most recently the Marine Corps with the repeal of DADT.

Krauthammer is good on materialistic issues — like economics. But he is utterly secular and disdainful of those who know believe that man — and society — cannot live by bread alone.

The Kraut. He used to write a regular column for Time or Newsweek back in the day. I couldn't figure out whether he was a conservative or liberal, since he sometimes made sense.

I guess he's been a RINO all along.

Barring some major unforseen circumstance, Palin will be the Republican nominee in 2012, and I couldn't be happier about it. She may be inferior to Reagan in some ways, but in others, she will be superior. I'm speaking of her willingness to fight the LSM --to the death.

Why would anyone use Wikipedia as a source...anyone can put anything on there...and there is no verification.

You may not like CK’s view of Palin...but all those other issues he is not on board with.

Krauthammer can eat poopoo and die for all I care. He and Rove are turncoat liberal/progressive, one-world government trolls and should be booted by Fox. I won’t even listen to this worthless a-hole again. He’s gone rogue himself, a close friend of the commies. Any friend of the commies is an enemy if mine.

Well, if Sarah Palin gets the nomination, I will vote for her as will any number of folks who have the attitude that she can win, and will, if the Republican party goes all out to support her. If they do not and she happens to lose, so be it. I will still be a Republican who put up a good fight to take back this Republic from the anti Americans who work night and day to destroy this country and install their own socialist/communist version of heaven on earth. We Republicans who have supported our party for many years, trusting leadership to do the right thing for our country, are now saying that leadership has led to President Obamanation and it is now time for a new, invigorated, leadership of OUR choosing to step up and get this country back on track.Time for a new team with positive attitudes and slates clean of past political favors and trade offs and political maneuvering for power. The old guard has become weak or uncaring of their job to protect and defend this Republic and if a Palin loses so will they. So at least that will be accomplished.

There are some men who are brilliant in one aspect of life such as psychiatry, but who become helplessly insecure, concrete-bound children, blind to any abstactions or principles, seeing nothing but the immediate moment, when their focus is on current politics.

Some of you folks have said that Palin will be elected President in the greatest margin in history and that she will reform our country to its fullest.

This sounds like the type of colossal Messianic BS that only the Left is capable of proposing.

OK. Let’s see this happen.

Folks here who see Palin as a great POTUS in waiting are falling for a cult of personality. The fact is she's not a great candidate nor does she look like much of a president. I really dislike her quitting as governor in AK. Don't care the "why" so much because the "quitter" label will resonate and stick. Politically, perception is reality.

Obama needs to be replaced with someone calm, capable and an experienced executive. I don't know who that is but I know it's not Palin or Huckabee. None of the names floated thrill me.

It's going to be an uphill battle either way. The natural tendency is to reelection a president. Over and above that, I can't help but think voters will be inclined to give Obama a "second chance" out of racial guilt.
