None of the above. John Thune or Bobby Jindal.
Jindal has already ruled himself out, besides he’s unappealing and bland. And Thune is a Senator. Conservatives aren’t going to get behind another legislator.
Another senator with no executive experience? That doesn’t seem to be working so well. Governor Jindal has declared he’s not running for president, and besides, I don’t believe his parents were citizens when he was born.
Good luck with that. Out in the world beyond hard-core conservative bloggers and political junkies, no one's ever heard of John Thune, and Bobby Jindal is only slightly better known.
Between the two, only Jindal could hope to gather enough support to even mount a primary bid. Even so, he probably wouldn't get more than a few percentage points of the overall vote, given the overwhelming support for Palin.
jindal cant run he isnt eligible. he isnt natural born
Both Huckabee and Palin are grossly overexposed publicity hounds. I’m tired of them. John Thune is very interesting. Low key, very well spoken and intelligent, a solid conservative, and loads of Clint Eastwood-like charisma. I predict he’s going to catch on with Republicans who are looking for a fresh face and a serious candidate.
