I could go on at some length here, but let me close with this. I feel like I share something in common with Sara Palin, my families life and her families life are very similar in some ways. We both have to work, to provide, to protect, to prosper, to grow. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who feels this way about her.

And this I believe is why most people support SP. They see themselves in her. I, on the other hand, do not think I am presidential material and therefore require much more than someone like me to be president. There are millions, literally millions of people equally as good a choice for president as SP based on your criteria. Barbour, for example has run a state well through two catastrophies that destroyed nearby state economies. He balanced budgets. He cut debt. He created jobs. He is a Christian who is still married to his college sweetheart after 40 years. His children are just his children, not public entities. I do not see myself in him, I see someone with the experience of doing the job I would like to see done by my president.

I never meant to suggest that I was presidential material. I did mean to suggest that I consider Sara Palin to be very qualified to hold that office. I’m not qualified for the simple reason that I do not want that horrible job.

I’m too selfish to hold office. I consider my time my own and I absolutely refuse to back up on a single principle that I hold sacred.

Mrs. Palin gives me the impression that she might have much more of a servant’s heart than I do.
