Republican Senator Lindsey Graham added his voice to the chorus of questions -- based on, so far, zero evidence of impropriety -- about how an unknown, unemployed veteran won the Democratic nomination for Senate in South Carolina.
Graham told POLITICO's Manu Raju just now that he has "basic questions," such as how Alvin Greene got the money for his $10,400 filing fee.
Graham said he didn't think anybody "rigged" the election, saying that most likely voters voted for the first name on the ballot, and he said that the Democratic establishment candidate ran a campaign where he "sort of assumed he would win.".
"So these things happen where someone gets elected who basically did nothing," he said. "There is some suspicion about his filing fee - I'd like to know how that came about."(continued)

What’s a probe going to determine? That Democrat voters are as dumb as rocks?
Leave it alone, f’goodness sake.
The ruling class is not amused.
Bingo!
Pseudo Republicans like Grahmnasty and McStain is why we have an illegal immigrant Marxist POTUS.
They need to dry up and blow away.
November elections count. Why oh why should anyone care about primaries that are about politics pundits and parties?
I hope that when Graham runs for re-election, the Good Citizens of South Carolina finally dump him onto the ash heap of history.
I support a probe, too. I’d love for them to investigate and discover that there is no impropriety, just dumb as rocks democratic voters!
There’s no down side to an investigation. It is going to highlight the weakness in developing an ignorant dependant electorate.
The more Alving Greene remains in the spotlight the more likely it is that the country will realize his primary win mirrors the same dynamics that propelled Obama through the primaries and into the White House.
Isn’t this a SOUTH CAROLINA DEMOCRATIC PARTY problem?
You mean Senator Graham isn’t a Democrat? Could’ve fooled me!
I say send him to Iceland!
