Some Palin Facebook fans unhappy with endorsement [Carly Fiorina for U.S. Senate]

Ex-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has outraged some of her fans with an endorsement of former Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina in the GOP's U.S. Senate primary in California.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate made the endorsement on her Facebook page, saying Fiorina's experience running a major corporation is sorely lacking in Washington.

In the Thursday posting, Palin called Fiorina a "Commonsense Conservative" who has the potential to beat "liberal" Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer in November.

Fiorina — an adviser on the McCain-Palin ticket in 2008 — got the endorsement over former congressman Tom Campbell, who is leading in most polls, and Chuck DeVore, a favorite of tea party supporters. But it's essentially a two-person race in a close match between Campbell and Fiorina, with DeVore far behind in the polls.(continued)

The money quote: "She is pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-military and pro-strict border security and against amnesty," Palin wrote. "Carly is also a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. Like me, she is a member of the (National Rifle Association), has a 100 percent NRA rating, and she and her husband are gun owners."

“Fiorina presented herself as a realist regarding the effects of globalization.

She has been a strong proponent, along with other technology executives, of the expansion of the H-1B visa program.”

Sarah is being a fool... Carly doesn’t have a voting record, so what she says she supports means nothing.

I worked for her, and she’s no conservative... Sarah should should check people out before she endorses them. She’s making a laughingstock out of herself, and that’s sad...

Someone once said in the seventies, and I’m sure it’s true today, that for every potential voter you disenfranchise, there’s another 20,000 disenfranchised voters out there...

Do the numbers on the negative reaction on facebook regarding McCain and Carly, and you’ll see that she could be destroying her base... She would probably be well advised not to run in 2012 is she keeps this up.

If more American students would take the tough courses (Engineering, IT, Physics, Medicine, etc.) would we need so many H1-Bs? Of course when someone graduates from an NEA run publik skool, they usually don’t have what it takes to get into, much less finish, the above courses. That’s the recruiter in me talking.

Rand Paul doesn’t have a voting record.

Most, if not all, of the military veterans Sarah has endorsed don’t have voting records either.

Citizens are running for office.

and pro-strict border security and against amnesty," Palin wrote

"There has been a very unfortunate racist tone that has emerged in a lot of the discussion about immigration and that's inexcusable."
~Carly Fiorina

It's not about immigration, she should know that. It's about ILLEGAL immigration.

“If more American students would take the tough courses (Engineering, IT, Physics, Medicine, etc.) would we need so many H1-Bs?”

Your missing one thing here. Companies (like the one that Carly ran {into the ground}) They dump the over 50 engineers to hire younger folks at a lower wage. This distorts the picture somewhat...

“Rand Paul doesn’t have a voting record.”

However Carly does have a history that you don’t have to dig very deep to uncover. And it’s a bad one...

Tell People where to dig, and let them find out. They go to the Offical sites and all they do is is tell you what they want you to know.

To know something, you have to have a brain. Perhaps you are expecting too much.

“Tell People where to dig, and let them find out.”

For starters, 150,000 people worked for HP while she was CEO. All of them hate her... I’ve had lunch with Both Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard. Both wondered around and talked to people... regular people like myself.

Carly had 5 full time bodyguards on the HP campus... and when she traveled. Doesn’t that tell you something?

You should hold your tongue - you're out of your depth. What she's doing is ALL about 2012. It's going to be between her and Hillary, and you'll vote for her, like every other conservative - oh yes you will, because her platform will be getting rid of Obamacare, and Hillary's platform will be backing it with stormtroopers.

So she's not worried about the conservative vote, and Hillary isn't worried about the liberal vote. The battle is over the middle - and that's where Carly can help her a lot. Carly, and people like Carly, dismiss the centrist perception (fueled by Hillary) that Sarah is some sort of right wing zealot they can't relate to.

If you're a shill, you already know this, of course, and you're just pouring fuel on the fire to fight Sarah's correction of the media spin against her. And if you're not a shill, you need to presume she knows what she's doing, and then think a little harder to understand her, before you spout off about her losing her base. LOL - you think conservatives are going to vote for Hillary's screaching over Obamacare enforcement? LOL!

Sadly, I have to agree with you. I really like Sarah, but lately, I find myself raising an eyebrow at some of her endorsements...

Trust me, when it comes to conservative politics, your stupid when compared to me...

The issue will be the nomination not the general election, and Hillary won’t be involved in that... Sarah needs her base to get the nomination. If she comes off like every other asshat Rino, we’ll be stuck with another McCain. (like Mitt)

It's going to be between her and Hillary...

You're making an assumption here that Sarah will take the Primaries. There may may have been a time when that was true, but she is slowly inching away from that status. She is slowly eroding that unique distinction that makes her who she is, and sliding into the territory of just another politician.

Don't make the mistake in thinking that people aren't noticing this...
