I don't mind telling you that I'm feeling more than a little despondent. Somebody give me a reason not to crumble into full-blown despair. Please?!
“It is up to us to take it back, one stinking bureaucrat at a time.”
here here. I’m committing to praying more and working harder to elect and support conservative state officials here in NJ. Tough, especially in this state, but it can be done.
Zimmer did very well against the addle brained Lautenberg. There is hope. New Jersey’s democrat mafia will eventually collapse under its own institutionalized corruption.
It is up to us to strategize knowing that the dems are always sowing the seeds of their own destruction by embracing criminality. Keep the dialog going. Most importantly monitor your kids schools and challenge every attempt at indoctrination.
If you have kids, make them part of the process. Support charities like The Thomas More law center who defend the rights of traditional Americans. It is an investment in your future. Get on the email lists of the Family Research Council and The American Family Association.
These are Christian groups but you don’t have to be to benefit from their tireless efforts and direct influence in Washington. These groups are without peer when it comes to ethics, accuracy and success.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” —
Margaret Mead
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Attributed to Edmund Burke
I always suggest Noindoctrination.org for frustrated conservative students and parents who want to know what they're paying for.
Unfortunately here, we've still got that obnoxious Menendez, among others. BTW, in NJ, 67% of 18-29 voted Obama. Lots of work to do there.
“Even the thousand mile journey begins with one step.” Hoping we all take the necessary steps to restore our republic.
Yeah and it better include mental heath care too because I might have a break down.
Long term perspective. Clinton should not have won in 92 either. Clinton’s rhetoric was a lot like Obama’s recent rhetoric (class warfare stuff). Clinton may not have had as unsavory connections as Obama, but bad is bad no matter how you slice it. We worked through Clinton and won decisively starting in 94.
1. Even with the MSM trying to destroy McCain/Palin at every opportunity, half the country voted for them anyway. Obama knows this and if he wants a second term, he will NOT try to force a far left agenda through. I wouldn’t make sense to. He doesn’t have a filibuster proof senate either, so he can’t push too hard.
2. The argument that we are a racist country is now gone. People of color will no longer be able to say that it’s pale people like me keeping them down. They will have to pull themselves up and stop blaming us for their inability to prosper in this the most prosperous nation on earth.
3. Republicans/conservatives in Congress have been shown what happens when you abandon fiscal conservatism and spend tax money like a liberal.
4. This is a warning - We have two years - We have to be very vigilant for two years beginning January 20. We had better work on getting some good Republican elected to the House and especially Senate, or we may very well get our asses handed to us for real.
