No RINO’s on the ticket, just what we need another momentum killing country club republican to ruin 8 years of a great Thompson administration, like Bush did in 88.

Thompson/Schundler, or some other young CONSERVATIVE to be groomed for the presidency, not some “fusion” rino.

Thompson/Romney

Lieberman Sec of Def

Rudy Sec of State

Screw Lieberman, he disagrees with us 99% of the time, he’s with us on ONE issue and we have to give him a cabinet position?? He’s a liberal who’s sane about 10% of the time, wahoo.

The last four republican vice presidents were U.S. reps. They were Dick Cheney, Dan Quayle, George H.W. Bush, and Gerald Ford. A good choice would be Jennifer Dunn. She was the chairman of the Washington State GOP, 1980-’92; and a conservative U.S. rep., 1993-2005. If she runs for VP, the Republican would probably win Washington’s 10 electoral votes.

How about Geraldine Ferraro?

J.C. Watts for V.P., it will blow away the Black Vote, from Hillary.

How about Michael Steel? He blew away the Black vote in Maryland!

Actually, there is a case to be made for Fred Thompson going this route for a running mate. Giuliani would put a lot of New England and mid-Atlantic states into play that would normally be a lock for the DemocRATS.

Giuliani makes little sense to me. Romney makes a lot more sense. Vice Presidents tend to get Presidential nominations eight years down the road (of the last four Vice Presidents, three have gotten such nominations). If Romney can show for eight years that he has genuinely become a conservative, I would see no problem supporting his nomination in 2016. I cannot imagine any circumstance in which I would support Rudy Giuliani at the top of the ticket.

___

J.C. Watts is an affable fellow, he’s got no business getting near the presidency, we don’t need to color balance the ticket, that’s not what we’re about.

Did Powell or Rice in huge positions do ANYTHING to help with the black vote???

Forget the black vote, apparently they’re zombies who want nothing to do with anything republican, if they want to be stupid and throw all their weight in with the democrats and keep going backwards as every minority who enters the country passes them by so be it.

If they want to stay at the bottom of every economic, cultural, criminal, domestic and every other barrel you can name in America so be it. Every penny spent courting the black vot is a penny wasted, all the pandering in the world has gotten us nowhere with the black vote. It’s time for us to wait for them, even if it takes forever. It’s like nagging the pretty girl, she ignores you, start to ignore her and all of a sudden she’s interested.

I think the Black vote is wondering away from the Democrats.

Blacks are getting tired of the Jessies and Sharptons.

There is not one shred of evidence for this statement and it has been said before in past elections over and over.

The black vote is going NOWHERE and trying to court it has been fools gold for about 30 years now, total waste of time.

Could Giuliani’s massive ego take being the second name on the ticket? Doubtful!

Al D’Amato is also clinically retarded.

If Giuliani wins the nomination, I’m submitting Daffy Duck as a write-in.

>>In fact, even while saying his backing of Thompson “is not a personal repudiation of Rudy,” D’Amato managed to make it clear Giuliani shouldn’t set his sights too high. Perhaps he could be a vice president, the former senator suggested.<<

I’m thinking maybe a mid level homeland security position for Guiliani or ambassador to the U.N.
