"Unfortunately hes willing to allow the islamderthal horde overrun the world..." This old canard is manifestly false. Ron Paul is not willing to let the islamo-horde overrun our borders any more than he is willing to let the Mexican hordes overrun our borders. He just insists that the Congress vote a declaration of war before we engage in one. The reason for this should be obvious. It is to avoid the horrific backstabbing of the troops by the craven politicians of both stripes that we see playing out today. I can see no better example of the wisdom of the founders that Ron Paul speaks for than this.
That is worth repeating for those who might have missed your post.

Andrew Sullivan sure has a lot of fairweather friends on FR. He was getting much praise here when he supported the failed Iraq war.Iraq is far from being a failed war. It is the central front in the war on terrorism against the United States.
It is precisely Ron Paul's stance on Iraq that disqualifies him from ever becoming POTUS. He is wrong on the number on issue before our country.
If the war there fails, it will be because it was not prosecuted long enough and hard enough. It will also not be long before we have to fight it here. At that point, the Democrats in Congress and Republicans like Ron Paul will have the blood of American civilians on their hands.

Nah, he’s a nut. If he’s the last man standing vs. Hillary, this country is doomed...same as with much of the current crop of bozo GOP RINO’s. It’s horrible that we can’t get a true Statesman, a Conservative to stand up against the Rats and their enabler Drive By Media...this country is sick and needs drastic surgery to rid us of the Rat Filth. Ron Paul hasn’t a chance...maybe Hunter or Fred...

Where did Ron Paul say that?

I can’t vote for a libertarian ever.

In a fundraising letter in 1996, Paul wrote: "It's time that Israel stopped running American foreign policy and draining American taxpayers' wallets."
To: The_Eaglet
Ron Paul sold out Israel when they were attacked by Hezzbolah. He was the only republican to vote with a few democrats in NOT supporting Israel.

Most FReepers apparently seem to love Big Brother when a (R) lives at 1600. When there’s a (D) they’ll suddenly start caring again about little things like habeus, surveillance, etc.

I believe it would be Article 1, Section 8:
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization...or perhaps
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions.

I was not aware that Israel elected or employed Ron Paul.

If Ron Paul has his way, Saddam would still be in power to rape and murder the innocent. Ron Paul voted, NO, NOT PRESENT WHEN HE COULD HAVE, to oppose the Iraq conflict. I do not care that Paul supported a declaration of war against Iraq, I care when he had a chance to vote, he voted no and not present. Talk is CHEAP, how you vote is what matters. Ron Paul is a nutjob and stands as much chance to win the republican nomination as you do, zero. I will do everything in my power to have him defeated.
When the dummies at DU, the kids at Kos land and code pink, sound like Ron Paul and his supporters, it is easy for most of us to see, he is on the wrong side of issues with you, his followers.

how you vote is what matters. Indeed. He voted for the declaration of war against Iraq. If you do not care, that is your problem.

He voted NO, not present, against the Iraq war resolution to remove Saddam. He did not need to vote no, he could have voted present and made his point. He chose not to.
If Paul had his way, Saddam would still be power to rape and murder the innocent.

Whatever you think of Paul’s domestic policy, his foreign policy makes him a clear and present danger to the USA.
