As early as next year widespread flooding by a rise in sea levels will create major upheaval for millions. COULD I be mistaken but if there were to be an "Ice Age", sea level would decrease as water would be stored in the ice caps and glaciers?

I'll try and find the other article that I referenced. It explained the process very well. But the long and the short of it is not simply that global warming makes the whole globe warmer. Different areas are effected differently and these changes are driven by changes to ocean currents, the jet stream, etc.

Take it from someone who studied oceanography in college - if there's another Ice Age, the sea level will drop. A great percentage of the freshwater ice will be landlocked.
