I don't know of a photo of Kerry smoking a joint but he did mime the action for the cameras recently when he did his tour with the child molester from Peter, Paul, and Mary. I saw the clip.

Denial ain't a river. That is John Efn' Kerry (I wonder if the F stands for FTA)? Photo of Kerry with Fonda enrages Vietnam veterans

Bush didn't protest during the Vietnam war, DUmmy.

All Kerry has going for him is that he may have killed a single badly wounded VC soldier who was out of ammo, probably with a shot to the back of the head. Nobody knows, since there were no witnesses. He may have just fired into the air. Knowing that sleazeball (and, yes, after these recent revelations, we can call him that), if he hadn't had the firepower of his boat to back him up -- roughly equivalent to the firepower of an entire infantry platoon -- chances are he wouldn't have budged. He's hardly a hero in anybody's book.

Actually, I agree that Kerry is a world socialist and has hitched his wagon to their star. (red star)

Any information about a candidate that can be demonstrated is the background noise in a foreground contest by the combatants themselves. While Pres. Bush will not push the photo and the facts of Kerry's communist sympathies, there are other dissemination methods that get valid information into the hands of voters. If presented correctly, they will notice it.

Vets who detest Fonda will NOTICE the picture of Kerry/Fonda and they will file it away as ONE of the facts about Kerry that they know.

If he was sent to fight it, I bet he would protest as well.

I fail to see the logic.
I was in Viet Nam from October 1966 - April 1968. I didn’t protest the war then or later.

Or then again, do people even care anymore?

We’ll find out in less than 9 months.

**Or then again, do people even care anymore?**

I would think that those who received scorn from their fellow country men upon their return to the US from Nam would care a great deal.

"Vets who detest Fonda will NOTICE the picture of Kerry/Fonda and they will file it away as ONE of the facts about Kerry that they know."

And if the photo is a fake, and proven as such, that shouldn't matter?? It is ok to lie to the voters to get them to support our guy (I'm just asking)?

The Corbis photo is not a fake. Corbis is respected in the field.

The picture of Kerry BEHIND Fonda and both looking to the front to some speaker is authentic.

Incidentally, the HISTORY of the era proves that Fonda and Kerry shared the same stage. A collage poster of each of them on that stage at their own respective times is not phoney.

A photo-shopped picture that manufactures a false sharing of a microphone by them is inappropriate.

Which photos are we talking about? I've seen one with him at a podium with the VC flag in the background, and one of JF with him in the background. Are they both real?

Incidentially, I don't harbor any ill-will towards ANYBODY for what they did or didn't do in the war. Volunteered? God bless you. Went to Canada? Good for you. Got daddy to get you into the Texas ANG? Kuddos to 'ya. Burned your campus down? Way to go. We were ALL used as pawns. Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Kissinger....I hope they all rot in hell for what they did to all of us....
Enough of this war. We're all getting too old for this s--t.

Got daddy to get you into the Texas ANG

Pres. Bush volunteered for a jet fighter program and was accepted. Because of that he spent MORE time on active duty than a draftee did.

Besides the inherent danger of flying jets, he also asked for Viet duty and was denied. See here: President Bush

Unfortunately, he did NOT volunteer for Vietnam duty.
And he was accepted into pilot training after scoring vey low on the exam (he was jumped ahead of those that scored higher).
We have to be quiet about this (because it's not good) and it'll all go away. Today he was supposed to visit with a NG outfit. Bad move. That keeps it in the foreground.

He sould stick to the proven winner. No gay marriage, no abortion and more tax cuts. That, and that alone, will get him elected.
